Post Fight Interview with Binzo. http://www.mmatycoon.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=40545

Reporter: Congrats Binzo on your win tonight.

Binzo: Thanks man It was great to get the first Leg of this tour Kicked off with a win.

Reporter: Speaking of that you got the 2nd Round TKO, Was there anything that surprised you out there tonight?

Binzo: I wouldn't say there were any surprise's. I figured he would want to take me down in this fight. So my game plan was to try and keep the fight standing and try to get the Ko.

Reporter: That being said he was able to take you down very easily so that had to be a bit of a surprise wasn't it.

Binzo: Well yeah but he is a great fighter so I could train all the time in the world and he would have still probly got a takedown or two on me. To be honest I didn't want to go to the ground with him but I was ready if it happened so I was comfortable being on th

The Viking Invades The Island

Fighter profile of Ragnar Lodbrok by Antonio Maximus

The Viking first invaded The Island in a QFC match where he dispatched his foe with some heavy ground and pound 4:32 into the 1st round. Ragnar was then signed by Attack Fight League, and there after put his name on the map.     January 18th 2014: AFL 1 Campos vs Lodbrok. It was a short nights work for The Viking as he dominated the then 2-0 Campos in just 1:56 into the 1st round. Campos scored early on with a few good shots but was quickly taken down with a vicious belly to back suplex from Lodbrok. Then savagely ended the fight with some aggressive ground and pound.   With a new season underway on The Island fighters are jockeying for position to be the best. After his fight last night we had a chance to catch up with the #6 P4P and #1 LHW fighter on The Island, Ragnar "The Viking" Lodbrok. Here is what he had to say:   Q: Great fight tonight, did you think it would end the way it did? A: Of course, I knew I would hurt him.   Q: After a big win against a guy like Campos, w

The Islad Fighter, Ceasar Memphis

Fighter profile of Ceasar Memphis by Tim Key

Since joining the MMA scene on January 10th, 2014 many questions have risen. Like who is Ceasar Memphis? Where did he come from? What does his backround look like? These are just a few of the questions I've seen on many fourms and websites. I'm Tim Key, the manager of the man in question, and I will do my best to deliver the answers everyone wants.

Ceasar Memphis is from a small town called Bloomington in central Indiana. Now I'm sure some of you have heard of Bloomington or atleast the college that is there, Indiana University. The school is very well known for it's basketball program.
Ceasar was once a young man who had high hopes of one day playing point guard for the Indiana Hoosiers. Those are the same dreams that young boy in the state have. He was a very good basketball player, but was also very stubborn. He wanted to
play the game he wanted and not the way the coach wanted. He was kicked off his high school team for not listening and testing positive for drugs. After being kicked off the team he turned to the streets. He started selling drugs, and thought he was
untouchable. Then one day he was jumped by a group of guys who beat his ass, took his drugs, and his money. That was the day he decided he didn't want to live that type of life anymore.

Over the next year Ceasar had started training at a gym in one county over, in a little town called Spencer. Owen County

Preliminary Bout Number 1- Middleweight Fight

Gustavo Gracie (3-2) {0-0} versus Carlos “The Rattlesnake” Jimenez (2-2) {0-0}

Gracie got off to a terrible start to his young career with two straight losses. As it started to turn around he was dropped by his manager. Sean Doyle picked up the fighter and made sure he stayed on the winning side of things. Now Gracie has won three fights in a row and the brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is

Preliminary Bout Number One- Heavyweight Fight

Junior “Massacre” Lima (0-3) {0-0} versus “The Sinister Kid” Louis Le Tueur (0-1) {0-0}

Lima is surly a striker, training in boxing and Muay Thai. In his first fight he lost by decision and in his second and third he was defeated by submission in the first round. Lima will want to get on the winning ways, losing your first three fights of your pro career can be devastating. Obviously he can only really strike so do not look for many if any take down attempts from him. Across the cage will be standing “The Sinister Kid” who is a wonderful boxer and proficient wrestler. Le Tueur looked terrible on the ground in his first fight, but did stuff fifty percent of his opponents takedown attempts. He looked a bit timed in the clinch, but he was fighting someone that was a lot older. In this bout I would exspet him to come out firing away and try to be the first to knockout Lima. If things get dicey he could look to shoot the double for some ground and pound. I am going to pick Le

 BFT - 264: Chelios vs Zanotto

Light Heavyweight - The former U.H.F. Light Heavyweight Champion Justin Jones Unanimous Decisions the Former CFA and Supremacy Light Heavyweight Champion Raphael "The Legend of Yelawolf" Bowie.

This one started with Justin Jones taking Bowie down to the ground. Bowie stayed on top of his game, though, by threatening with submission attempts. With that being said, Jones was not a slouch either, throwing some ground and pound attempts of his own. Bowie was able to land a great sweep, but Jones worked on some submission attempts of his own. The two continued to roll on the ground for a while until the ref stood them up. Jones then clinched things up and brough the fight back to the mats before the end of the round. Bowie took the fight to the mat right away in round 2. The two traded submission attempts immediately, with neither man really gettinf much off submission wise. The entirety of the second round took place on the mats. The two men were rolling around looking to land shots, sink submissions, and hold onto the dominant position. It was a thinker of a round, but Jones was able to hold it together. The third round had Bowie on his back quickly. The two men continued to tango on the mats, but it was Jones who would end up walking as the victor.
