And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 136 wins and 88 losses; Moldy Jello! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Jello shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Blue as he avoids it easily. #TD2# Jello looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Blue (0) vs (2) Jello Jello working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Blue's thigh. The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. No luck for Ramirez with that takedown attempt. Ramirez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Oh swivels and escapes. Ramirez goes for a double leg but Oh avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Oh continues to drive forward. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jackson Ramirez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ramirez gets underhooks to prevent Oh's takedown attempt.

and Kersikov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Gaines throws a hook but Kersikov avoids it easily. Kersikov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Gaines misses the jab. Gaines throws a right hand that misses
and Kersikov counters with a good, hard body kick but Gaines shrugs it off. Kersikov doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kersikov throws a combination. Gaines tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Kersikov falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kersikov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. #T1# Gaines lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kersikov backs up against the cage.
