Date: 2nd May 2021

Arena: Hard Knocks (The Island)

Start Time: 17:00 (GMT)

City: The Island

Hello and welcome back ladies and gents, to yet another preview of one of the most highly anticipated events in the short history of IXF...Now why it's a highly anticipated event you may ask? Well, the simple answer to that is...just have a look below. But, before you do that tho, i am gonna tell you that we have two high quality title fights lined up for ya tonight, so if you want an indepth analysis on each fight, i would suggest checking out the preview.

MAIN EVENT

Phuc Dat "Humongous" Bich (C) {5-0} vs Smile Telheiras {3-1} (Heavyweight Title Fight)

Well, we are not here to waste time, so i thought why not just start off with the blockbuster main event itself...So, the main event of the evening, takes us to a bout which you might as well call a grappling fight, cause honestly, if you have ever seen even a minute of a fight involving either one of these two fighters, then you know, that they would do anything but stand in the middle of the cage and brawl. So, as i said, expect this fight to be fought predominently on the ground, hence with the skillsets and moves posessed by Bich, i for one cannot see this title change hands tonight, but, this is a fight, and therefore we all know that anything can happen in it...so i'd suggest you lot to not take your eyes of this classic.

Now taking a closer look at both the contestants we see that bich is a 25 year old submission specialist, who is by far the most deadly grappler in certainly IXF, but also The Island as a whole. Now when you look at his previous bouts, you can find a trend taking place, that is, he likes to finish off his fights very early, 1st round to be precise, so no one really knows how his body will react when he get's deep into a fight, whether he tires or not that is...But honestly, in this fight, if he doesn't finish the job early, even i will be disappointed, and therefore he will be desperate to win this fight, first of to retain his beloved title, and then further cement his legacy as the best Heavyweight fighter ever at IXF.

Now, Telheiras on the other hand, is also a Grappler/Wrestler, who at the age of 25 has already experienced some highs and lows in his career, as when he first started off, there was a massive hype surrounding him, and having won his debut fight as a pro, that hype only grew in stature, but then when he signed up for IXF, reality bit him bad, as he suffered a bad defeat on his debut here...But since then, he has been training ultra hard, which was proved in a win straight after that loss, but he wasn't satisfied with that, and therefore he went back to QFC to sharpen them skills further...But now, on his maiden title fight, he kinda feels that there is no pressure on him, as no one really expects him to win this bout, and therefore he will be hoping to win this bout, to prove everyone wrong and pull off the upset of the decade and fullfil his dream of winning a title.

Prediction: Phuc Dat Bich wins via Submission (Round 1)

CO-MAIN EVENT

Ricky Luciano (C) {6-0} vs Gosuke Del Valle {3-0} (Lightweight Title Fight)

Now moving onto the co-headliner of the evening, we have another highly anticipated title fight, between undoubtedbly the two best fighters in the Lightweight division, who are finally, after ages of waiting for it, set to battle it out in the middle of that cage, to once and for all show everyone who is the best Lightweight in IXF. On the contrasting styles of fighting that these two posses, i can only say from my experience that whatever happens, expect this fight to not be decided at the hands of the judges, because one of them is either getting knocked out cold or chocked out cold...so no matter what, don't miss this fight guys, cause this one has the potential to be one of the fights that we will remember for a long-long time.

Now, moving onto the fighters, Luciano is well, Luciano i guess...I mean what can i say about this guy. He is a 25 year old monster, who has been on an absolute tear recently in the Lightweight division, and mind you, by tear i mean he has literally destroyed the entire division, as with an undefeated pro record of 6 and 0, whoever has come in front of him so far has got crushed like a christmas cookie, hence i don't really exoect this bout to pan out any other way, and hence Luciano will be hoping to win this fight, to keep up his winning run, and further solidify his dream to be among the HOF'ers at IXF one day.

His opponent Del Valle on the other hand, is a differnet beast tho, as at 25 years of age, he is by far one of the scaries submission artists in the whole of the Lightweight division, and his unbeaten pro record of 3 and 0 backs up my theory perfectly. He is a guy who doesn't really like to leave the decision of the fight on the hands of the judges hands, and therefore he has finished all of his bouts so far, but the most noticable thing on that is, he has unlimited amounts of moves ( as in submissions) through which he finishes them fights, and therefore none of his opponents really knew what he was gonna do next, before falling prey to one of those moves and having to submit. So with that being said, if this fights moves to the ground at any stage, then i expect a close bout, but honeslty i don't expect it. But nonetheless, he will be hoping to win this bout to finally accomplish his dream of winning a major title.

Prediction: Ricky Luciano wins via TKO (Round 2)

OTHER FEATURE MAIN CARD BOUTS

Bruno De Oliveira {4-2} vs Balin Trollslayer {3-0} (Heavyweight Fight)

The first of the feature bouts today, happens to be one of the most highly talked about fights of the evening ironically, as in Oliveira and Trollslayer, we have two outstanding 25 year old grapplers, who are undefeated at IXF, and is possibly set to battle it out for the number #1 contender spot for the next title fight...Whuuu! I am excited for this one lads...Alright, now just to give you a quick background check on the fighters, Oliveira is a guy who really did not get off the best possble start to his career, with 2 losses hampering his chance of getting a shot at competing at the likes of IXF...But ever since those losses, something has clicked in his mind and body, cause since then he has been on an absolute rampage, running through every opponent and winning all his bouts very easily, so hopefully he will turn up in the same fashion in this fight and give us a performance to savour. Now, Trollslayer on the other hand, has had a much better start to life as a pro MMA fighter, as he is unbeaten rn with a record of 3-0, alongside the fact that he literally looks like a man possessed on winning the title, so i am literally expecting some solid performance out of him tonight, and therefore he slightly edges this bout based on the fact that, this dude simply has a different aura around him rn, an aura that simply tells you that he'll win this bout no matter what.

Prediction: Balin Trollslayer wins via Unanimous Decision (Round 3)

George Russell {3-2} vs Koa "Kane" Nightmarcher {2-1} (Lightweight Fight)

Next up on the list is another grappler vs striker bout, featuring the former title challenger in Russell, who after having won 2 consecutive fights, earned himself a title shot, only to get dominated in the enitrity of the match...And on the other end, this fight features a fiercesome striker, who after winning the Knockout of the night award in his IXF debut, is on a hunt for that elusive title shot...So, all in all, if you have nothing to do on a sunday evening, then just don't take your eyes off of this one, or else you might regret it later.

Prediction: George Russell wins via Submission (Round 2)

Lee Roid Monkey Tassen {3-2} vs Andrey Karaev {3-1} (Heavyweight Fight)

The final fight in our main card sees two devastating strikers, who are coming off the back of losses respectively, take centre stage, with both desperately in need of wins to bolster their confidence and get themselves back in the title hunt...Now taking a closer look at both the fighters, we see that both of them love to stand up and brawl, street fight type, with Karaev being the much better fighter in that regard among the two, and also, we can see the stark contrast in the different stages of careers they are in, as Tassen is a guy who is just starting off his career here at IXF and is still yet to prove his worth to anyone, whereas Karaev is a proven world class fighter at IXF who is coming off the back of a bad loss in his maiden title fight, and is desperate to get himself back in the title race...so all in all, one of these guys has everthing to lose whereas the other has nothing to lose, hence, this will a matchup that i'd suggest you guys to look out for.

Prediction: Andrey Karaev wins via TKO (Round 1)

UNDERCARD BOUTS

Jose Glasgow {4-3} vs DeeJay "The Decepticon" Dawkins {2-2} (Heavyweight Fight)

Kasper "King Carrot" Hansen {2-1} vs Joaquin Mourao {3-3} (Lightweight Fight)

Frank "Smiley" Blank {1-1} vs Tim Nelson {1-0} (Super-Heavyweight Fight)

Monoel Tobias {1-1} vs Gordon Ryan {1-0} (Light-Heavyweight Fight)

Anigav "Taco Eater" Rennid {4-5} vs "Long Legged" Larry Legend {0-1} (Light-Heavyweight Fight)

So with that, another event in our beloved organization at IXF comes to an end, i hope you all liked the Preview,so until next time...Peace!

Bio: Steve "Crawdad" Cannson
Welterweight Division
5-0-0

Steve Cannson comes from humble beginnings out of a rough neighborhood in Brooklyn, and was never really a fighter at a young age..
Raised by a single mother, she did her best to raise him right. She was the only person he really loved and respected.

On his way out of school one day, two guys decided it would be funny to bully Steve; and started to push him around.. They called him names, laughed, and pushed him on the ground..
Steve just picked up his backpack and started to walk away, when one of them laughed and shouted behind his back
- "I F***ed your mom last night, b***h!"

Steve stopped.. That was it..
They were looking for the button to push, and they found it!
He turned around to look at the guy with the big mouth,  and without saying a word dropped his backpack and launched! - taking him to the ground effortlessly..
Steve proceeded to lay down punch after punch onto this poor kid's face, leaving him a bloodied mess.
It took a teacher to run over and pull Steve off of him, and it probably saved the kid's life.. He ended up with a broken nose, jaw, and orbital..

After this experience, it was like a switch was tripped.. There was no off button for the rage that surfaced in Steve.
He was expelled from school, and his future seemed crushed..
His mother was desperate to help her son find himself again, so she called an old friend who owns a small private gym in Montreal, Canada.
He told her about a new fight organization "IXF" that would isolate a group of fighters on an island, and turn them into professional athletes.
Steve agreed to go, and vowed that he would be back when he's holding a championship title and enough money to buy his mom a big house.

So far.. Steve has had a dominant presence in the organization, going undefeated in 5 fights in the welterweight division. With every single fight ending by stoppage via strikes, this guy is a beast.. - And the field of contenders for Steve to defeat is only getting smaller.
His next fight will be his toughest opponent yet, with Mongolian fighter "Sum Yung Gai" who is also currently undefeated at 6-0.

Steve Cannson:
"I don't care how many wins this guy has. Look who he's fought against..
Yeah, he's good, but I'm elite.. He's never truly been tested, like he's about to be when he fights me.. He's not up to it.
It's my turn to take care of my family now.. To do that, I gotta be the champ.. So anybody who gets in my way is gonna get slept!"

Post Fight:
"Straight out the gate the dude pokes me in the eye.. and the Ref. pretends not to see it!!
Total scam!
This guy ain't nothin', and I'll prove it the next time we meet..!"

                                                       IFX XXII (PREVIEW)

                                                                    1618138866IXF%20XXII.jpg

DATE: 5TH May 2021

ARENA: Hard Knocks (The Island)

START TIME: 17:00 (GMT)

CITY: The Island

Hello ladies and gents, this is your boy Matty fernandez, who is here to bring forward to you yet another one of the the very exciting and highly anticipated events in this great organization called Island Xtreme Fighting...So without much further adieu, let's get straight into the fights...

UNDERCARD FEATURE BOUTS

Pat Risher {2-3} vs Jerome "Mighty" Mice {1-1} (Bantamweight Bout [135 LBS])

Jorlan "Pitbull" Viera {2-3} vs Zeus "Big Dog" Turner {2-3} (Super-Heavyweight Bout [265+ LBS])

Matthew "The Austrilian Nightmare" Maddison {1-3} vs Yeetr Sokolova {2-1} (Heavyweight Bout [265 LBS])

Hells No {2-2-1} vs Mike "The" Carpenter {1-1} (Lightweight Bout [155 LBS])

Anthony "Executioner" Epolito {1-0} vs Necmettin Hoca {2-2} (Lightweight Bout [155 LBS])

MAIN CARD FEATURE BOUTS

Hugh "G" Rection {3-0} vs Santiago "Arge Enemy" Ponziabo {1-0} (Lightweight Bout [155 LBS])

Now then, since the hassle of the undercard is now well and truely past us, it's finally time for the big boys to step up to the cage, and basically... entertain us, cause why not? And therefore with that being said, the first fight of the main card takes us to a matchup, which we might as well call a grappling bout, cause in Rection and Ponziabo, we probably have two of the most scary submission specialist in the Lightweight Division currently. Now, of course Rection will definitely have the upper hand in terms of experience and morale coming into this bout, since he has already fought at IXF before, more specifically in his previous bout, which he won very confidently, apart from two more wins at QFC level...whereas, Ponziabo on the other hand, has only competed in 1 fight before at QFC level, but although he won it confortably, the nerves of making your debut at a professional organization will probably be there with him in this bout, and therefore after observing all the above points carefully, i would expect this to be an extremely closely matched contest, fought predominantly on the ground, with the winner being... (You gotta see my predictions for this below)

Prediction: Santiago Ponziabo wins via Unanimous Decision (Round 3)

Brett Shoenfeld {4-2} vs Viserys Tagaryen {2-1} (Bantamweight Bout [135 LBS])

So next up on the list, we have got yet another grappling bonanza, featuring the former Bantamweight title challenger in Shoenfeld, who is going to go one on one with one of the most hottest prospects in the 135 LBS division, who goes by the name of Tagaryen. Now as i mentioned before, both of these fighters are predominantly submission specialists who likes to get their opponent to the ground as soon as the fight starts, so that they could use their advantage on the ground to win the fight. But in this bout, both of them would definitely need to come out with different ideas if they wanna win, cause if this matchup goes to the ground, then it's literally a coin toss as to who would win this fight, considering both their strenghts in BJJ. Now, some would say that since Shoenfield has just challenged for the title, he is the better fighter of the two, but let me tell you, that's simply not the case...you see Tagaryen lost in his debut fight at IXF, tho since then, he has been slowly building himself up through rigorous training, to one day become the best in the division, but as he told all of us before, he wants to take things slowly, and come back as a better version of the fighter he was before, so the tagaryen you lot are witnessing now, is a very different beast from what he was before, and therefore, i for one, am very excited to watch this bout unfold, as it could be one of the best of the evening.

Prediction: Brett Shoenfeld wins via Unanimous Decision (Round 3)

"A" New Home {5-2} vs Arthur "The Outlaw" Morgan {2-0} (Middleweight Bout [185 LBS])

The final fight before we move into the main event and the co-headliner, finally takes us to a matchup between two very potent strikers in the Middleweight Division, who are both at very different stages of their careers here at IXF, yet find themselves pretty much walking along the same rope when we look at who stands where in the division currently. Now taking a closer look at the fighters, we see that Home is one of the most experienced fighters currently in the IXF roster, but unfortunately for him and us, he has never really lived up to the early hype he had going when he first joined this organization...and those two consecutive losses has not done much to help his cause... but ever since then, i feel like he has changed a lot, i mean i talked to his coach yesterday, and even he told me that he has been surprised by the sheer amount of training this guy is doing since those losses, and that he is just a completely different animal now, so honestly, i can't wait for this guy to step in the cage again and continue building his confidence after that comeback win last time round. Now on the other hand, in Morgan, we have another fantastic muay thai specialist, who is currently one of the hottest prospects in this division, and his undefeated pro record of 2 wins out of 2 does nothing to harm that thought. He is just one of those kids whose confidence is sky high rn because of the wins, but, he has never fought at a pro organization before, and therefore, he needs to make sure that he backs up the hype and actually wins this bout, and keep on winning after that, to avoid becoming yet another New Home...so all in all, i am really looking forward to this bout.

Prediction: Arthur Morgan wins via Unanimous Decision (Round 3)

CO-MAIN EVENT

Arturo "Raging Bull" Vargas {4-1} vs Mfer Phol {3-0} (Super-Heavyweight Bout [265+ LBS])

So in the co-headliner of the evening, we have a matchup, which btw, could very well be a title eliminator in the (265+ LBS division) as in Vargas and Phol, we have two hungry gigantic beasts, with very differnet fighting styles, going one on one in the centre of that cage, slap bang in the middle of this massive arena, to once and for all show everyone who is the better fighter of them two, and who actually deserves the title shot.

Right, now taking a closer look at the fighters, we see that Arturo Vargas is actually one of the most scary dudes in this division, who was on a absolute tear throughout this division, smashing everyone that came in between him and his maiden title shot...Now everything was fine, until ofcourse, he met possibly the next title challenger, wherein our man right here was absolutely dominated and knocked out in the very first round, thus handing him his first loss, and significantly damaging his title chances. Now he was very hurt by that loss, but the hunger to win never left him, and therefore he returned with a dominating victory in his last bout, and now coming into this bout, if you listened to his coaches, you'd know, that he is more focused than ever, and therefore, don't expect this fight to be a dull one, and never take your eyes of this, cause you might miss a huge moment.

On the other hand, Phol is an incredible wrestler, who has simply looked unbeatable so far in his short career...and with 3 straight wins out of 3, you can see why. Now this guy really doesn't like his fights to go on for a long time, as all his previous bouts have finished in the very first round, but, that could have it's backdrops, as we don't really know how his body will react to a long fight, but nonetheless, none of us will complain if he decides to throw the kitchen sink in the first round itself, so all in all, if i was a MMA supporter, then i would not wanna go anywhere when this dude fights, hence, expect a close fight, but a quick fight, and as far as the result is concerned, all we can do is wait and see innit?

Prediction: Mfer Phol wins via TKO (Round 2)

MAIN EVENT

Zion "Superman" Lewis {4-0} vs Mizark "The Smesher" Coleman {3-1} (Super-Heavyweight Bout [265+ LBS]))

Right then, after 9 exciting bouts, it's finally time for the fight that you all have been waiting for, live from the sold out Hard Knocks Arena in The Island....IIIIIIIttt's Tiiiimee...

Ok that was a bit too much excitement right there, but honestly, this fight is all about excitement really, as in the champ (Lewis) we have a guy who has literally single handedly destroyed this entire division...I mean this guy doesn't only doesn't only defeat you, but he absolutely annihalates his opponents, to the point where all they see is stars in the nightsky..and if that wasn't enough to be scared of him already, according to his coaches, he has had his best training camp ever for this fight...so honeslty, if you are Coleman, then just hope and pray that he doesn't end your career...so, all in all, just don't forget to watch this fight.

Now, when we are talking about Coleman, let's take a closer look at him as a fighter innit? Right, so he is a wrestler, who is also a quite devastating Muay Thai striker, who has got off to a rather decent start to his career as a MMA fighter...I mean yeah he has had his rocky moments where he suffered a quite humiliating defeat, but then, he has come back with two very easy on the eye victories, which has got him what many people call an undeserved title fight, i simply don't know why...But today, he has his oppertunity to prove once and for all that he is indeed ready to be the big dog of the division and therefore he will be desperate to win this bout, to first off prove his critics wrong, and then accomplish his lifelong dream of winning his first major title.

Prediction: Zion Lewis wins via TKO (Round 2)

So with that, another fantastic event in this great organization of IXF comes to an end. I hope you all liked the preview,so until next time, PEACE!

Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Gosuke Del ValleMixed Martial Arts Fighter - Noel Diaz

Gosuke Del Valle vs Noel Diaz
Beachside Supplements [6472]

155 lbs, Island Xtreme Fighting155 lbs, Highland

$50,000 is up for grabs for fans who come the closest to predicting the result of this Sundays Matchup! Be the closest manager to predict: Who wins, When they Win, How they Win, and Time they win and you can win $50,000. This post will be posted in both the Highland and Island Forum. To enter, put your prediction under the post in one of the two companies smack talk thread. Message TycoonHec for any questions. Disclaimer: IXF & Highland did not ask me to write this article or create a contest. I am doing this on my own free will.

Two of the absolute best mixed martial artists on the Island this season come to a head on collision as Highlands own Noel Diaz (11-0) takes on the undisputed lightweight champion of Island Xtreme Fighting, Gosuke Del Valle (9-1). These two top ten pound for pound fighters on the Island are putting their organization and their own reputation on the line when they collide this weekend August first. Hosted by IXF at the Hard Knocks, over 3,000 people are expected to be in attendance for this clash of submission sensations.

My name is TycoonHec. I have been around this game a long time and have made a recent return to it. I have always been known as a writer and upon my return have worked for Highland, Catchweight Wrestling, and Synchronicity. Now that you know who I am, lets get into this fight preview!

To really get into this match up let's do a little dive into each fighter. Gosuke, the IXF lightweight champion, is on a winning streak of 3 fights against some very tough opponents submitting each of them via kimura. Altogether, Gosuke’s last six fights have all been title matchups so this guy certainly understands the hype that comes with big fights. With all but two of his victories coming by submission in the first round, the purple belt in Gosuke is one of the most dangerous grapplers we have seen on the Island.

Noel Diaz is synonymous with the acronym GOAT. Highlands own has won not only the 135lbs and 145lbs titles but he has also gone on to claim the 155lbs title as well. With a high preference for choking out his opponents, Diaz strongly prefers to lock them up via Guillotine or Triangle but has settled for snatching an arm before as well. Diaz shocked the world in his latest matchup with a majority of spectators believing that his matchup with Ed Green would turn into a grappling fest, he put Ed Green out cold with a stunning knockout proving that it's not just his ground game you have to watch out for.

In this matchup we see two of the best in the game today step inside a locked cage. Very real threats to one another the matchup should not shock us if it goes the distance due to how resilient and talented these two individuals are. Fight fans can expect Del Valle will look to shoot in for a takedown from the moment the bell will ring and improve his position to the point where he can gain side control. Now, multiple times his opponents had great defensive grappling and stopped him from transitioning so from half guard he has locked in submissions, being on his back he postured up and took out an opponent via guillotine, and twice he swung around an opponent and took their back. This guy is aggressively active whether he is on his back or on top and plunges all of his energy into submitting his opponents, and this is why he has walked away safely with so many first round finishes.

Noel Diaz is quite different from any opponent Gosuke has ever faced. The brown belt out of Stockton has started his career with a shocking 35 second armbar victory. Where Gosuke looks to shoot in for takedowns, Diaz aims to clinch and pull guard without any sort of hesitancy. Diaz has won almost each of his fights off of his back via submission so facing a dangerous threat is really nothing new. Diaz has submitted not only one purple belt but three brown belts, has two more fights than Gosuke, and has faced arguably a higher level of competition so his confidence going into this fight is at an all time high.

I connected with a few fans on the Island who favored one fighter over the other to get their take. “Diaz has never faced anyone with this kind of pace. He will be smothered and submitted by the second!” The nice level of alliteration there made my skin tingle. Another fan had retorted, “Gosuke only fought white belts and blue belts, never even faced a purple or higher, imagine what it's like when he faces someone like Diaz! '' Despite that also being a fair critique, that does not discount the possibility of Gosuke submitting Diaz.

The two camps have been longtime rivals, and both seem very sure that their fighter will be the one to walk away with the win. Reports are that Diaz has been focusing on his boxing on Mondays and rolling with his teammates twice a week. With only one grappling coach in Castillo, we caught up with him and he shared with us that he had never seen anything like Diaz and fully expects Diaz to submit Gosuke. Vernon Collier, a coach at Island Gym, laughed in my face when he had heard what Island Projects coaches predicted and told me, “Diaz has never faced an opponent as talented as Gosuke. You watch, he will cry and so will his fans. His arm will be snapped by kimura.”

Island fans, the rivalry between these two gyms is very real, at least in my mind. The fight goes down this Sunday, August 1st. This is a matchup you will not want to miss. Put it on your PBP now and make your predictions to win $50,000. Good luck to both managers, gym owners, Org owners, and of course to both fighters who are the ones putting everything on the line!
