Can you post a bracket for the remaining fighters butch?

To Avoid Team fighters from facing each other it will continue to be a random draw for LW and WW. For instance If Team Hardman has two WW and Team King and Team Hardman both have two LW's. So if both of the respected team members make it to the semi finals they will not face each other.

Middleweight is the 8 team coaches so as the seedings state the winner of 1 vs 8 will face the winner of 4 vs 5 next round, etc...

Team Action i was hopping to get one of you gents in the Quarter finals and Bloody guts surely gave JLP a good fight as well as Xyel the previous round. Just the way she goes though.

Thank you all for getting us to this point.

League of Madness week 4 recap

with Host Captain Chaos16116854159042.jpg

"Well Madness Fans you got to give Mister Madness some credit he nailed it with this card, by far the most competitive fights. The final 8 Welterweights gave it there all last night in Vegas, but only 4 would advance to the Quarter finals. I was on hand for the show, and even though all the drunk hippies at Paddy O'Malleys where getting on my damn nerves, i thoroughly enjoyed the event. Lets take a look at the action!"

Mike Nara def Cheeto Bean KO(Punch) Round 2 3:54

With Team Marky still looking to advance there first fighter it was all on the shoulders of there top pick Mike Nara. Standing across the cage was Cheeto Bean who was looking to keep his team undefeated. This fight ended up being pretty one sided as Bean struggled to get any offense off, and toward the end of round 1 found himself in all kinds of trouble as the Fin scored two quick Knockdowns. Round 2 starts with more of the same as Mike Nara continues to land with punches, his body shots where nearly perfect as he landed 26 out of 27 of them. The end came just before the 4 minute mark as Bean was having some vision problems, Nara unloads a thunderous hook that sends Cheeto crumbling to the floor.

Coronnie James Dio def Javier Tapia TKO(Strikes) Round 2 3:29

Next up are two fun loving South Americans hit the cage in search of a Quarter final bid for themselves. Tapia got caught with a hook seconds into the fight that opens a cut, so he wisely shoots for a takedown with success. The first round stayed on the ground as the two grapplers tried various submission attempts to no success. Javier looked to have the upper hand as the two fighters head to there corners to end round 1. Round two starts and it was exoected that Javier would look for the takedown again,  but Dio quickly shut down his shot early which lead to Tapia bringing the fight to the clinch. From the clinch Coronnie took control of the fight as the aggressor while Javier continued to struggle with his Takedown attempts from the clinch. Tapia finally abandons the clinch which lead to the bitter end for the Argentinian as "Unholly" begins to land strikes at will. The last straw was a big right hand from Coronnie that sends Tapia tumbling to the canvas, a barrage of strikes followed as Coronnie forces the ref to hault the contest.

Madness Fighter def David Eagle TKO(Strikes) Round 3 1:57

The third bout of the evening pitted two strikers in a clash of styles as heavy handed Boxer/wrestler David Eagle met Muay Thai specialist Madness Fighter. Round 1 was a bit of a stale mate but eagle did what he needed, to take round 1 with his Pulling guard tactics and overall control. Round 2 though Madness began to catch on to David's relentless guard pulls and had none of it, as he starts to turn up the offense in the clinch. Eagle does get the fight to the ground late in round 2 but it was not enough as Fighter takes the second round. Now all tied up we head into the final round! Eagle knows he needs to pick up the pass and starts firing wild shots, there just not landing. Madness fighter threw a sloppy right hand that his foe did not see coming and sends him to a rocked state. From there Madness fighter takes to the clinch and his wobbly opponent is all but done at this point. Now leaned up against the cage, Fighter pours it on dropping David Eagle to his knees and forcing the stoppage.

Julius Lew def Justin Forfun Unanimous Decision

Are final fight of the card and the last opening round bout of the season saw Team Hardman welterweight Julius Lew face off with Team Action's Justin Forfun. Julius showed his dominance in this fight against a game opponent, as he played the role of the aggressor for the majority of the 15 minutes. While Justin was just not having any fun out there as he struggled to land anything including his Takedown attempts. He did manage one takedown in round 2 but the fight was quickly brought back to the feet. The highlight of the contest came at the 3 minute mark of the final round when Lew landed a jab that had Justin seeing stars for a moment. It was not the best performance of the tourney but give both fighters credit for giving there all. Julius took the fight 30-27 on all three scorecards, with his constant pressure. As for Justin, tough night in the office as he made it 0-4 for team Action but he showed he has the heart of a lion indeed.

                                         LOM_LW_final.jpg?width=400&height=225

Last night Madness Crowned the inaugural Lightweight Champion and LOM Lightweight winner in a highly competitive finale between the two Team King fighters. As Teammates, these two gents knew they where in for a battle, as the fight went all 5 rounds.

The path to the LOM Lightweight Final was not one for the faint of heart, as these two young prospects showed in there previous fights.

As the Lights go out in the Hayashi Lounge arena in Las Vegas, the sound of Shortwire's  "Reconfig"  begins to wreak havoc on the speaker system. While Matija Maestro begins to emerge through an electrifying Lights display for the ages. Maestro now 4-0 as a Pro fighter is dibbed "The Future" for good reason. As the Serbian born fighter steps into the Madness Octagon the Epic sounds of Waltzing Matilda hit, and fan favorite "Jolly" Johnny Billabong begins his walk to the cage. Billabong now 3-1 as a pro was the third overall pick in the LOM Draft. The Camera's quickly spot Head Coach Hei Long King who is cheering on his two pupils with a look of Joy.

Fight Diagnostics

Matija Maestro brought a Balanced attack with a strong Grappling base and and improving striking and Wrestling game. The BJJ Brown Belt has two submission victories during his LOM run and showed he also has a gas tank as he one an impressive UD in the Semi Finals.

Johnny Billabong is very similar to his opponent as he too holds a Brown Belt in BJJ and prefers to keep the action on the ground. He is also coming off two Submission victories back to back after going to a Decision in his opening bout. I give the Striking edge to Maestro and the grappling edge to Billabong here but both fighters are more at home on the ground.

Round one began with a standup fight through the first three Minutes, as Maestro was the aggressor and Johnny was looking for Counter strikes. Just before the 3 minute mark Billabong lands the first Takedown of the fight, but he struggled to stay in control on the ground early in the fight, as Maestro quickly sweeps into his opponents Guard. With less the 30 seconds to go Matija is trying to lock in a Kimura on the "Jolly" one, but he wanted nothing to do with it as the round ends. Matija 10-9

Round two begins with much of the same as Matija pushes the action while Johnny Ducks and weaves avoiding much of the attacks from his counterpart. Billabong hits another Takedown just before the three minute mark once again as Maestro quickly starts to fish for Submissions off his back but Billabong lands in the mount position in the process. After some Ground strikes land from Johnny Maestro begins to try and wiggle out of the mount but gives up his back where the round ends with Johnny trying to lock a Rear Naked on his foe. Matija 10-9 Billabong had Matija in the danger zone though at the end.

Round Three starts as Maestro continues his aggressive pace on the feet, and is starting to land at a much better rating. Billabong though wisely takes the fight back down as he secures his 3rd takedown of the fight at the halfway point of the fight. Both fighters trade submission attempts at the end of round three in a toss up. 10-9 Matija as the game of chess continues.

Round four begins as the aggressiveness of Matija Maestro begins to slow just a bit. Johnny scores a Takedown much earlier in this round compared to rounds 1-3 and after a few Submission attacks of his back, Maestro finds himself being controlled on the ground for round 4. 10-9 Billabong

We now head to the final round and judging the fight at this point Matija may have a slight edge as round 3 could have went either way. This round starts with Billabong using good footwork and looking a little more fresh in the process. Johnny then chooses to clinch up with the Serb, and eats a nice hook to the body for his efforts. We hit the halfway mark of round number 5 with Billabong scoring another takedown his 5th total in fact. Maestro looks for a Triangle moments after the Takedown but cant pull it off. The bell sounds with Johnny Billabong in control of the Guard position. 10-9 Billabong.

This may not have been the most exciting fight to watch but a true Martial Artist would give much respect to these two warriors. Very tough fight to judge i honestly couldn't do it myself i may have just threw my card in the trash and walked off.

The Final Verdict

48-47 for the winner and now Madness Lightweight champion and the Winner of the LOM Lightweight Tournament.....

Matija Maestro

                                              Voorheis_vs_Rai_2_1.jpg?width=400&height

Madness Championship Chaos is now in the Books and today we crowned 4 more "End of the Madness Champions". The one we are highlighting right now is of course the League of Madness Welterweight Final. This was a 5 round war just like the Lightweight final as Team King's Derk Voorheis beat the odds and made it all the way to the Final, a true Underdog story for this young man. He met Team Clubber's Agansing Rai who was a man on a mission.

How did these two young stars get here?

Well for Derk it was quite the uphill battle indeed, as he made his Professional debut in the opening round against Braydon Harms. No one really knew what this kid had to offer, but he made a lasting impression in that debut as he shrugged off countless Submission attempts from Harms in round one. With just 30 seconds into round two the young grappler went off on the German with some nasty GnP to force the stoppage. Next up was a huge step up for Derk, as he was pitted to face the #1 overall pick in the LOM draft in the likes of Troy Nguyen. Without a doubt this was Voorheis Shinning moment as he took out Nguyen in the first round via Submission. Nguyen Landed a Cross moments into the fight that immediately opened a cut, only Derk loves the taste of his own blood and took control of the fight very quickly landing a takedown a raining down some GnP. The GnP set up a slick Americana finish for Derk. In the Semi Finals Derk was matched against a versatile striker, with a name destined for greatness in Madness Fighter. This proved to be a the biggest test thus far, but Derk exposed Madness on the ground as he dominated rounds 1 and 2. He looked to be taking the point route in this one, until Fighter who was starting to fatigue let down his defensive guard just enough and as the 10 second mark hit, the Fury that is Derk Voorheis was let loose as he finished off his foe with strikes with only 3 seconds remaining in the fight. Earning himself a spot in the LOM Welterweight final, what Impressive begining to this young Dutchmen's career!

As for "The Ghurka Berzerker" Agansing Rai his path to the Final was just as uphill and impressively competitive. He was selected to face T. J. Romero in the opening weekly stage of the LOM tournament, and like his opponent tonight he to came out and made a statement. He shed some blood from Romero early, and the end came at just 1:24 in the first round when Rai landed a crisp counter that sent T.J into a slight coma. Rai was then matched up with a Talented Brazilian grappler in Coronnie James Dio and after a quick One round fight against Dio's Teammate, Agansing was dragged to the deeper waters winning a Unanimous Decision. Rai showed he can stuff the takedown in this fight as Dio could only manage to land 1 out of 4 takedown attempts. Forcing Coronnie to stand, Rai then put on a aggressive display of striking in route to his Decision victory. In His Semi Final bout he met yet another Brazilian phenom this time though, a Muay Thai fighter known as Diego Armando. This was just an example of what we had in store for the finals, as he matched his fellow finalist with a late 3rd round finish. After taking two dominating rounds, Rai had adapted some Takedown abilities of his own and brought the fight to the ground with just 30 seconds to go. He also showed he has some submission skills to go with his striking, winning this fight with just 5 seconds on the clock by way of Kneebar. The Nepalese born Agansing Rai does it and gives Team Clubber some Glory!

The Fight!

This fight was scheduled for 5 rounds in the Madness Welterweight Division and was for the Vacant Madness Welterweight Championship, and the Rights to become the LOM winner at 170 pounds.

The Bell sounds and these two Mad Mfers go to work, as Rai quickly starts landing strikes with his feet and hands.  Voorheis says no sir though and Shoots his first takedown of the fight and it is successful as the fight hits the floor. Both fighters have there moments in round one with reversals and Rai's lone Submission attempt was quickly shrugged off. Round one is scored in favor of Derk Voorheis 10-9

Round two begins as Agansing starts to get his rhythm slowly going on the feet, keeping the fight there until 1:20 mark where Voorheis lands his second successful Takedown. Derk looking to control for the most part until a missed elbow attempt secures a Rai reversal, giving Agansing some top time as the bell sounds. Round two goes to Agansing Rai 10-9

With the fight all tied up, Round 3 begins as Rai kicks it up a notch landing more strikes and stuffing Voorheis Takedown attempts.  Agansing's Precision is on point tonight as he is landing at will, but The Dutchmen is by no means out of this fight. As we head past the 4 minute mark Derk knows he needs to get the fight down and he does with his third Takedown of the fight, with just 30 seconds left to work though, and the bell sounds. Agansing Rai is now up 2-1 taking round 3 10-9 and this round could be a 10-8 as Rai showed his Dominance

Now we head into the "Championship Rounds".  Rai kicks things off mixing his Kicks and Punches perfectly.  Voorheis throws a lazy right hand, but it was just for distraction as he lands Takedown # 4 of the fight with 4 plus minutes still on the clock. The two LOM finalist trade position back and forth with Derk getting the slight edge for the mot part. Voorheis made his first Submission attempt of the fight as we hit the 4 minute mark, but to no success. Round 4 goes to Derk Voorgeis 10-9

The fights all tied up now and both men are feeling the affects of this grueling contest, but have the fire in there eyes as they know what is at stake here. Round 5 Baby! Rai showing good footwork starts things of as the aggressor, as he has done on the feet the entire contest. Derk though wisely shoots for a Takedown and he secures his 5th and final Takedown and has 4 minutes to make something happen. As the fight nears the two minute mark Derk tries to lock on a Kimura but Rai sweeps his foe, and takes the top position away. With three minutes now gown by Rai is now gunning for a Leg Lock but to no success.Voorheis then takes advantage, and lands a reversal of his own. Both fighters now look like they have been stuck out in the Sahara for the last few days, with Derk stalling on top but he is trying to land shots his arms just wont allow it, and Rai is defending well for having nothing left in the tank. The Bell sounds to the final round as we await the Judges scorecards. I couldnt judge this one to be honest!

This fight was so much like the LW final and could easily go either way. Fuck i'm glad i am not a judge!

Judge Robert "Twinkle Nuts" Twigg Scores it 46-48 for Agansing Rai

Judges Frank "The Tank" Dennis and Stewart " Dundidit" Dunkirk also see the fight 46-48 in favor of the winner

and New Madness Welterweight Champion and the 170 pound Season 2 LOM winner "The Ghurka Berzerker" Agansing Rai.

The rest of Team Clubber jump the cage to join there teammate to celebrate Whicle Coach Clubber lifts his star pupil above his shoulders and runs around like a madman. I think Rai just wants a shot of something strong a pillow at the moment. He does have enough to shout out his sponsor though, and simply  displays that his Balls are not just Hot there fucking flaming right now.

Hell of a fight and matched the Lightweights just as well.

Congrats to the LOM Welterweight winner and a huge shout out to his counterpart the Underdog has nothing to be ashamed of here. Stay tuned as I will be Reviewing the final LOM Division Finale "the Coaches choice" at Middleweight. Where Coaches Action Jackson and Marky Mark go head to head with two of there brightest prospects in the Madness Lime light

LOM_MW.jpg

The League of Madness Season two is now a thing of the Past and the Middleweight Final was just as Competitive as the Lightweights and Welterweights. This Final was also a bit of Redemption for both Coaches Marky Mark and Action Jackson who where the unfortunate loosing end of the Team Competitions in the other two divisions. A new Champion was born this night and he surely put in the work to earn it. First i want to review exactly how these two fighters made it to the Final.

"Kid Vicious" Vinicius Kicklighter(Sorry i butchered your name in the TOTT) was pitted against Team Hardman's Dillon Hardman in the opening round. Hardman was looking to Outstrike Vinicius. Though he put up a valiant effort, it was just not good enough for the ultra aggressive Kicklighter who took a Unanimous Decision. Vinicius then faced Thorin Oakenshield in the Semi Finals a standout Wrestler from Team Alfred. After struggling to stop the Takedown early in round one, a forced referee Standup was called upon late in the round. The young Californian took full advantage of it landing a crisp Left Hook that sealed the deal with just two seconds remaining.

Hendrix Cabrera faced Team Kings MW fighter Octavio Dos Anjos in the Opening round. Cabrera took care of Business early in this fight, after getting scarred up in the early stages of round one. Hendrix then instantly went Headhunting and after dropping his foe he finished him off with some furious Ground and Pound. Cabrera's Semi Final opponent was Free Waterfall Jr a good wrestler for Team Billy. Waterfall had success with Takedowns from the clinch he just landed them two late in the rounds. Hendrix went on to batter Free all three rounds in route to a Unanimous Decision victory, earning his spot in the Finale opposite Kicklighter.

The Final was now set as the Boxer Vinicius Kicklighter and the Muay Thai Specialist Hendrix Cabrera took to the Madness Cage in search of the 185 belt and the rights to be called the winner of the League of Madness.

This fight stayed on the feet all five rounds with both fighters striking at a quick pace. Cabrera looked to use his Clinch to his advantage the most part of the fight but "Kid Vicious" was up for the challenge and managed to be more accurate.

Here are some handy, yet boring as hell strike ratio's that can show just how accurate the fighters where in this one, both in the clinch and from the outside.

In the Clinch Cabrera landed 14/42 strikes for 33.33% rating, while Kicklighter landed 23/52 for a 44.23%. Punches from the outside where in favor of Vinicius as well landing 77/180 for 42.78% as Cabrera landed 44/130 for a 33.85% rate. Kicklighter was also landing Leg stikes at a 25% rating. Overall Cabrera was at 33.72% while Kicklighter landed at a 45,97% rating.

In the end this was all Kicklighter who won a Unanimous Decision, although Cabrera did manage to snag round 5, as two of the judges scored in his favor. This was a fight that gave the fans what they came to see, much like the other LOM final fights. Kind of reminds me of Forrest vs Bonnar but a lot better. Hats of to the Challenger Hendrix Cabrera, 5 more rounds and he might have got it!

And big Congrats to the Middleweight League of Madness winner "Kid Vicious" who will be defending his newly crowned title in the final Madness MMA event>"End of the Madness". on 6/26.

I do regret ending Madness this soon, as i had High hopes for this run, but shit happens. I simply dont have that kinda of patience for the org Buisnes. Thanks, everyone who was involved with this tournament . It was a huge stretch as far as the format goes.

Cheers.
