Michael Cole HOF Induction

Managed by Rodrigo Rojas, Record inside GAMMA 41-28-1, he is a former 2x GAMMA affiliate champ and 205lbs contender.

His 70 fights in GAMMA (many in our affiliates) is joint first all time. He was also the only fighter to spend his whole career in GAMMA upon induction to our HOF.

He had big wins over former champs such as Joosep Lhmus, Matt Quin, Dao Sonnen, Rufus McTearson.

Upon retirement he was ranked as 15th best fighter ever in GAMMA. He did it mostly due to the volume of his fights, although he was a consistent top tier fighter in both 205 and 185lbs during his career, often getting the big wins, but mostly failing to be the very best in the divisions he competed in.

This was the first induction into our HOF for Rodrigo Rojas. With this induction, Rodrigo moved up in the manager rankings from 29th to 22nd greatest manager.

The MMA Tycoon community has went away from the usual voting for the year awards, instead they have replaced that with an award committee this year. After a lengthy process, the committee has made a decision regarding the best in each category and these are the awards our fighter/managers have won:

205lbs Fighter of the Year - Joosep Lohmus (Billy Arseworth)

265lbs+ Fighter of the Year - Roar Horse (Bear Stevenson)

Submission of the Year - Farboleous Ricard vs Hans Hermann Hoppe (Carlos Castenada)

Manager of the Year - Bwang Jong Sr

Fight of the Year - Thomas Bolleke vs Latrobe Arundel (Alika Webb & Action Jackson)

Congratulations to all our winners!

Reminder: For all winners of Fighter of the year, you receive an extra 25 points in your fighters all time ranking points, which goes towards your Hall Of Fame eligibility. For Divisional winners, you receive 15 points.

GAMMA#886 Falcone v Newton REVIEW By Alika Webb

Super heavyweight - Joe Clark Vs Gorgon Zola

Joe "Shotgun" Clark was on a four fight winning streak and wanted to keep the good times rolling. Gorgon Zola on the other hand had just been knocked out two times in a row and desperately needed a victory to keep his head afloat in the shark-infested waters of the super heavyweight division.

Joe "Shotgun" Clark came out guns blazing. If you’ve got dynamite punches, you better throw ‘em and he did and then some. He knocked down and sliced open Gorgon Zola in the very first minute of the fight. Joe Clark saw an opportunity to keep the fight on the ground. But Gorgon Zola defended wisely and when both fighters get stood up by the referee, he popped right back up like he was in a Monty Python movie and that nasty cut over his brow was nothing but a flesh wound. Gorgon Zola fought like an Aztec warrior, showing massive heart defending himself after getting knocked down time and time again. But Joe Clark fought like an Aztec priest, mercilessly ripping Gorgon Zola’s bloody still-beating heart of his chest.

Winner: Joe Clark by KO (Punches)

Super heavyweight - Leonardo Da Vincible Vs Jason Steele

Leonardo Da Vincible was riding a three fight losing streak and was preparing himself for a war. He was either going to walk out of the cage with his hand raised or he wasn’t going to walk out of there at all. Jason Steele however wasn’t feeling much pressure at all, having just defeated submission wizard Carlos "Pitbull" Ruas in his last fight.

Jason Steele did what Jason Steele does best, he closed the distance. When the fight went to the clinch, Jason Steele dominated. A violent display of Muay Thai clinching warfare, slicing open Leonardo Da Vincible and Leonardo’s head burst open like a ripe tomato. But Leonardo Da Vincible kept his cool and like a sniper, struck from out of nowhere, slowly but steadily shooting down Jason Steele’s defensive walls until there was not a brick left standing.

Winner: Leonardo Da Vincible by TKO (Strikes)

Middleweight - Travis Mitchell VS Jarred Reich

Travis Mitchell may have lost to Anthony "The Law" Falcone on his quest for the gold but he rebounded by making a statement against Kaz McStafferson. Travis Mitchell knew another win was necessary to bring him back in the race as a title contender so he made sure to bring his A game. Jarred Reich had a disagreement with his management and is now proud to have Alexander Biro in his corner. The stakes were high for him to show what he brings to the table as he hoped to impress his new manager.

Jarred Reich did everything in his power to get the fight to the ground. It’s unfortunate for him that every time it did, Travis Mitchell started beating him to a pulp. Still, that didn’t keep Jarred Reich from dragging the fight back to the ground again as soon as they got back to their feet. You know, one definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

Winner: Travis Mitchell by unanimous decision

Light heavyweight title - Damagon Enchrya (c) Vs Robert MacArthur Jnr

Damagon was defending not only his title but also his honor in this fourth fight against "Scottish" Robert MacArthur Jnr. The score was 0-2-1 in favor of the challenger so for once, the odds were stacked against the champion and while the challenger had everything to gain, the challenger had everything to lose in what seems to be the end of an epic rivalry.

These two goliaths threw leather like there was no tomorrow, putting the pedal to the metal and throwing bombs until the cage started looking like a freaking warzone. The champion dominated as soon as the fight started but the challenger was never far behind. The challenger came in with a mission and by the start of the fifth and final round, the crowd finally figured it out. The challenger was never planning to walk out of there with a decision victory. He wanted to walk out of there with the champion’s sliced off head dripping blood all over these blood-thirsty fans.

Winner: Robert MacArthur Jnr by KO (Head Kick)

Middleweight title - Anthony Falcone (c) Vs Bill Newton

Another conclusion to an epic rivalry as the dust starts to settle from the storm that ran rampant in the middleweight division since former champion Thomas Bolleke decided to move on to another weight class. 2-1-1 was the score in favor of champion Anthony Falcone. Since Falcone ended Newton’s night in the very first round last time, the fans were expecting him to bring the fireworks once again and send the crowd home happy. Bill Newton however only wanted to make himself happy. He wanted to bring back the belt that belonged to him. It used to be a reality, the golden belt wrapped around his waist every time he looked in the mirror. Now it was nothing but a faded memory. There was nothing Bill Newton wouldn’t do to make that memory a reality once more.

Bill Newton wasted no time at all, looking to close the distance as the ground is where his home is. Bill Newton threw everything but the kitchen sink. Anthony "The Law" Falcone however knew exactly what to expect and had an answer for everything Bill Newton threw at him. Bill Newton gave the fans a spirited effort and had them on the edge of their seats the entire time but in the end, Anthony Falcone was the one that got them jumping out of their seats as he knocked the challenger out with a stiff perfectly timed jab.

Winner: Anthony Falcone by KO (Punch)

Ezekiel Marley
8-1-0

When I signed my contract at Gamma, coming from the contender series, I felt like it was a massive step and too early.
However, I knew that I would be given the time to grow and build myself for the way tougher competition that I will be forced to fight in the elite levels. I still have a long way to go before being a complete martial artist, but I'm getting there step by step.
I got offered my debut fight against Joe River his boy Mike McGuire, young and bright prospect just like myself, altough with a lot more tools under his belt already. I knew that this was going to be a rough fight and I contemplated a heavy damage strategy for a long time, but ended up deciding that I probably had a better shot at trying to dictate the pace myself and try to outpace the higher skilled granite chin guy. And guess what, I'm pleased that I made the right choice and for once left my power at home ;)
Massive respect to Joe as always and many congratulations on the wedding of your daughter!!!

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Ezekiel Marley.
Well Marley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3 rounds of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision.
Judge Chris Edwards scores the fight 27:30
Judge Phil Schofield scores the fight 27:30
Judge James Glass scores the fight 27:30

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Ezekiel Marley!

Ezekiel Marley bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.

Re-Rating GAMMA all time greats

I have decided to give double points for our all time fighters. Essentially what this means is that i will give more points if our Hall of Fame fighters reached the top 10 in the game or if they were voted in game division or fighter of the year or if they were in the top 10 all time in GAMMA. The total fights, wins, losses and title/super fights stay the same.

The reason i decided to do this is because i feel i was not giving enough points towards real success and i was giving more to for longevity. You still cannot rate highly if you did not have a long run as well, just now success matters more.

Ezekiel Marley

9-1-0
8(t)KO wins

After beating Mike McGuire in my Gamma debut (what a shock win that was!), I made my second appearance last weekend and looked to make another statement. The start of the fight did no go as I planned actually, as I wasn't swichted on yet for some unknow reason, but then it all came together and I made short work of my opponent.

KO of the night: Ezekiel Marley

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Marley connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

King is rocked!
King gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ezekiel Marley!
In his post fight interview, Ezekiel Marley started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Career Highlight: Hiro Manowaru

The following is a highlight of the career of Hiro Manowaru. Hiro volunteered at Hectors Hitters, a public gym in Vegas geared towards helping new managers and fighters find their feet. The gift in return was a career bio. You can read it here or catch it through the tycoon times last week! Hiro is one of the greatest super heavyweight champions in all of Gamma History. In this career highlight, we take a look at some close matches, who he was when he began his journey, and where he will be going next. We hope you enjoy this fighter profile and if you want to check Hiros profile out yourself, click on his name underneath the picture below! Hope you enjoy.

Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Hiro Manowaru
Hiro Manowaru pictured after his most recent title defense.

On November 27th 2017 the world experienced two major events, the first was cyber monday where online shoppers reach to the depths of the internet to find the greatest deals available to man. The second was the mma debut of a 265lbs 18 year old kid who would later be known as Hiro Manowaru. Prior to his entrance into mixed martial arts, Hiro was a sumo prodigy from the Musashigawa stable, starting his education as a personal student of the 67th Yokozuna Musashimaru. Later on in his career he would be loaned to Bwang Jong Sr to train at The Zoo in Las Vegas and develop his fighting style. His masters in Japan want him back however Hiro has discovered a taste for MMA where he sits comfortably as the #1 Super Heavyweight fighter and rests easy in the top ten p4p tycoon ratings.

In Hiros first ever match he went up against an 0-4 competitor in a QFC event that lasted 23 seconds. The rush of a knockout victory sent Hiro scrambling to get another fight. 7 days after his professional debut he took on another more experienced opponent who had already showcased his knockout power. Within 2 minutes of that fight Hiro displayed an aggression that fight fans thoroughly enjoyed as he knocked out his second opponent.

Just before Christmas in 2017 the 2-0 Japanese prodigy had a falling out with his manager. Released from his contract the two parted ways and Hiro began to scour the internet looking for a new yet talented manager. His new found love of MMA had a grip on him and did not want to return back to Sumo wrestling. While continuing to train in Montreal, he encountered Bwang Jong Sr. a legendary manager with a winning record including over 1,100 wins. Bwang had taken Hiro under his wing and promised Yokozuna that he would help the young man develop his abilities but in the end, Hiro would be free to do as he wished. The two agreed and Hiro had begun to train with Bwang Jong Sr.

In his first fight under his new manager BJS, Hiro shocked the audience with a third knockout victory in 17 seconds of the opening round. Hiro and his new manager were elated. Hiro had vocalized to BJS that he desired to travel the world and fight the best like street fighter. BJS agreed to get him fights at different companies throughout the world if Hiro kept stopping his opponents the way he had been. Another two months went by and Hiro flew with BJS to London to take on a brown belt in Bruce Schlimen. Bruce had shocked Hiro by securing a takedown and relentlessly looking for submissions. He finally locked up an armbar and forced Hiro to tap out. It was a sad scene watching Hiro experience his first defeat and in a manner which he had no idea existed. The reality of Mixed Martial Arts being more than just slugging guys with headshots stuck with Hiro as he began to focus on his ground game at the gym. A short while later, Hiro suffered his second defeat in his career. Stunned and dismayed, Hiro began to question if he should stick with MMA or move on to something different. His morale began to plunge and he found himself desolate and broken.

Bwang Jong Sr. had a sit down with Hiro and share with him that he has so much talent but that he was harnessing it in the wrong ways. In both losses he had he made grave mistakes which had cost him, fights that he should have won he suffered defeats in but that only made him a better martial artist in expanding his mind. Hiro had went on a 10 fight winning streak knocking out 9 of them and narrowly winning a decision. In that wild winning streak Hiro had earned his first championship belt when he knocked out Fu Leng. Before he left Demolition Fight League, Hiro was recognized around the world as a top ten Super Heavyweight at just 23 years old. There appeared to be no limit above this young man's career.

Hiro relinquished his RFL title to the dismay of the company and threw his hat in the Gamma cage. The young top ten super heavyweight had a rough start to his Gamma career losing 3 of his first 4 fights in the company, 2 of which came by knockout. Hiro was concerned that he was about to be cut from Gamma and was unsure what to do. His focus shifted dramatically when his coaches started sharing with him about the importance of increasing his agility. He returned to his winning ways and finally got a shot at the prestigious Gamma super heavyweight title.

In the first title shot for Gamma, Hiro started off the fight very strong in the opening round. He was more accurate and more aggressive. It wasn't until halfway through the first round Grabber landed a nasty head kick that sliced Hiros head open. It appeared that Hiro was okay until his opponent landed a slick overhand that dropped Hiro. The audience began chanting and Hiro looked absolutely disoriented! The bell saved Hiro at least until the second round. Hiro came out looking still a little out of it and Grabber dropped Hiro with a thunderous left hand. The fight was called and Hiro went home without the Gamma Title.

Hiro returned to the Gamma cage knocking out two amazing fighters and earning himself a second shot at the title. This time, things would be different. Grabber had planned to defeat Hiro in a new and different way so he pulled guard and began to look for submissions, the only problem with this was Hiro was no longer 19 and knew how to defend submissions. He advanced to side control and began to land terrorizing shots until the eyes of Grabber rolled to the back of his head. Gammas owner, Guru Corleone congratulated the youthful champ and placed the belt over his shoulder. Hiro spent all night staring at the belt and realizing the importance of not surrendering despite how bad you want to.

Hiro defends his honor and the legacy of Gamma as he takes on the Combate champion in ten days at the Wombley arena in London! Karim Johnson, who has finished 9 of his 13 opponents via knockout is undoubtedly one of the most intense up and comers in the division. His fight against Hiro will be a true test of his own skill.

You can catch more of Hiro by subscribing to his buzz or following his career through Gamma!

15-4-0

Credit where credit is due, Weudke did real good!
I was absolutely losing this bout on the scoring cards, until I managed to land a sweet triangle choke with just 3seconds left on the clock.
Thanks for the great challenge and I hope to make sure that in my next Gamma-fight, I'll be more convincing.
A win is a win, sure, but I want to dominate, not squeeck by.

GAMMA is proud to induct Farboleous "The Deck-Wrecka" Ricard (285507) to it's Hall of Fame. Farb has a 37-20-1 record in GAMMA and upon retirement he had 335 ranking points, which is 6th highest in the history of GAMMA and highest among fighters who competed in 135, 145 and 155lbs, making him the greatest "little fighter" ever to compete in GAMMA.

He is the all time submission leader with 14 submissions (4 more than the next in line who is Willy Wonka). He is 7th in total fights and 5th all time in total wins.

He is also 4th all time in total title shots winning both the 145 and 155lbs titles on 8 different occasions! (This could be a record, not certain though).

This inductions also moves Carlos Castenada (84794) 5th all time in the greatest manager list, just 12 points behind 4th placed Alika Webb.

Twea King

Tadaaaa!!

Bottura throws a leg kick
and King counters with a straight that turns Bottura's legs to rubber! King pushes forward with more strikes and Bottura goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Twea King!

I am proud to induct Action Jackson (123097) to the GAMMA Hall of Fame!

Action Jackson is a modern era elite level manager with success all over the MMA Tycoon world. In GAMMA he has had massive success already with one of his fighters also making it to the HOF.

His in cage record for GAMMA (as of May 2021) was 54-25-5, which puts him in the upper echelon's in terms of winning %.

He also has had a total of 25 super fights/title fights, which ranks him 18th among all managers.

His total of 376 ranking points ranks him 25th greatest manager in our history and 11th among those still competing in the game.

Action Jackson is already an all time great and his still has a pretty good chance to go up the rankings in the near future, congratulations!

I would like to induct Karol "Bearded Midget Man" Mirowski (251500) to the GAMMA Hall of Fame!

Managed by Alex K. (84400), this is his first fighter to make it to GAMMA's Hall of Fame. Karol was one of the best fighters to compete in the lower divisions winning titles at 145lbs and in our now defunct 135lbs divisions, making him a 2 division champion. In total, he competed in 12 title fights.

His highest in game rank was #5 and he also came 3rd in the 2018 GAMMA fighter of the year ratings. His 153 rating points rates him 43rd among GAMMA fighters of all time.

His most significant wins were against Gareth Keenan (2x), Farboleous Ricard, Selfie Lord, Kira Miyata among others.

MMA fans, keep an eye out for GAMMA#917 Trullo v Damagon. It features some top-ranked GAMMA fighters and a title fight you don’t want to miss.

Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Song Turillo VS Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Damagon Enchrya

The light heavyweight title is on the line as champion Song Turillo (28-10-1) will come to blows with former champion Damagon "Eye of the Dragon" Enchrya (26-10-2).

The champion Turillo managed to blow the roof off the building with a first round stoppage against Anthony Falcone and managed to get his hands raised in the fifth encounter with mortal enemy Joosep Lhmus. Now that belt is looking pretty solid around his waist and the challenger will have to bring his A-game if he wants to put a stop to the champion’s momentum.

The challenger, Damagon, on the other hand has already lost to Song Turillo once before. But this former champion is riding a three fight winning streak now. He will look to pull out all the stops this time around, to get that belt around his waist again and to prove his worth to his new manager.

Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Karim Johnson VS Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Genghis Khan

Karim "Carnage" Johnson (16-3) has fists like bricks and an attitude that just won’t quit. But despite managing to bust up and knock down his latest opponent, Leonardo Da Vincible, he was unable to get his hand raised. Now he’s looking for a rebound win to catapult himself back into title contention.

Genghis " Iron" Khan (14-4) is a knockout machine, with all his wins coming by KO or TKO. After suffering an unfortunate defeat by doctor stoppage, he made quick work of Konstantin Stepanov. Now he’s looking for that big name victory that can put his name on the table when management starts looking for a new challenger for the belt.

GAMMA#917 goes on at the Wombley Arena in London, on October 23. Other featured bouts on the card include a light heavyweight collision pitting former middleweight champion Anthony Falcone against former light heavyweight champion Joosep Lhmus, and a 145-pound scrap between Disco Kid and Lincoln Storm.

Tyler "T-Rex" Wrexham (301173) has been inducted to the GAMMA Hall of Fame!

A GAMMA veteran with a total of 39 fights. He is a 5 times title challenger in 2 different divisions and a 1 time winner of the 170lbs division title. He is also a former #5 in game ranked fighter.

His most memorable wins were over Lao Shin, Lee Sin, Dao Sonnen, Cheik Imbula among others.

This is the first induction into the HOF for Kostas Tsaq, who is a GAMMA Hall of Famer himself, this moves Kostas into the #13 position among GAMMA managers.

Thanks the mentions Mentor. Dying to see your most recent updates. It is the highlight of the end of year awards for me.

I need to go down the list of candidates, i think this year will be the closest in our history, there is no clear cut obvious candidate for the year awards.
