The Story of GONY It all started in the cold winter of 2013. There was great unrest in the city of New York due to a number of reasons. Clothing and Nutrition stores were being looted and used for money laundering, Illegal potency narcotics were being sold to the masses on the black market, some of the most powerful names in Manhattan were using dirty tactics to control and fuck over the people for personal gain, hell even the most trusted members of the community manipulated the system to make it big in this god forsaken city. The NYC Governor, once praised by all for his iron fist against crime and innovative groundbreaking improvements he made to the great city, was soon frowned upon as he starting to seek other ventures in lands far away. Enough was enough for the good people of ‘the big apple’ and thus began the start of Gangs of New York… One of the King Pins of the city known for his foul play GONY 1 The lack of policing and authority along with the increasing cases of foul play led to cycles of Gang Violence for years. First, after months of grueling fights between the gangs one emerged victorious – The Five Pointers. A powerful gang made up of mainly Scandinavian origin led by Don Putin, known for his short temper and prolonged grudges. They were one of the most savage gangs to grace the streets since it all started – commonly seen in Blue to represent their Finnish heritage and cold heart of Don Putin they would see themselves undefeated in conflict largely thanks to the most feared fighter Mickey Shanks. Mickey Shanks preparing for battle alongside his fellow Five pointers GONY 2 A couple of years went by under the order of the Five Pointers until rivalries within the gang caused their eventual downfall. Castor Rollins was rumored to be the reason for this. Don Putin had a hate/love relationship with him and is believed to have one day set up a hit on his comrade. A new wave of gangs emerged from this rumor. Once again, there was fisticuffs around every corner between the new uprising of clans. Some legendary names were born in this era, one more so than the rest – Jean Claude Cedric. A man of large stature who would end any fight in the click of a finger, he possessed skills no one could match and would regularly be seen snapping an arm or choking an enemy out. Even with the best fighter on their side the Hells Kitchen Hellions wouldn’t find themselves crowned kings of New York. It was the highly underestimated Rockin Robbins who’d find themselves at the helm. Led by none other than Don Wolf, possibly the sketchiest and most hated gangster in all of New York for his corruption and betrayal of the once loved Governor and entire population. One of Don Putin's hitmen taking out Castor GONY 3 Alas, it wasn’t long until Don Wolf and his Robbins were banished from the lands, a certain band of misfits would soon smash their way through anyone who got in their path and would continue to do so for the next 5 years. Don Wolf killed by the GIMPS, the Robbins were banished shortly after The G.I.M.P.S are a creepy bunch often seen in dark leather attire led by Don Gwad and his two notorious henchmen Riff McGee and Rudy Van Daly who would shred through opponents like it was their job….which….it was. New York has been under the watchful eye of the G.I.M.P.S for a long time, but word on the street is that’s about to change… Don Daly, widely known in New York as the man who planted the seeds for the uprising that started all the violence after the great unrest all those years ago and close ally of the reigning G.I.M.P.S found himself getting rather comfortable in his Manhattan office that overlooked the Five points of the city. Often seen tilted back in his leather chair with a glass of scotch in one hand and a cigarette in the other, it was just a normal evening for Daly until his pathetic old henchman - now servant, Christian LeBaron burst through the office door with a shocked look on his face and panting frantically. LeBaron: ‘Sir, I know it’s late but I have urgent news! T…t…terrible news!’ Daly: ‘LeBaron you french fuck, I don’t remember giving you permission to enter and filthy my newly fitted carpet… this better be good.’ LeBaron: ‘Good? No sir, its far fr-‘ Daly: ‘Hush fucking tongue LeBaron’ (Daly pours himself another scotch as he realizes somethings very wrong) ‘Proceed.’ LeBaron: I was jumped shortly after I left the building by some guys… they beat me up good and told me to give this note to you’ (he pulls a bloody note out of his jacket pocket and thrusts it in front of Daly’s face) Daly: ‘What is this shit? Whose blood is this?’ (He walks towards his office window that has a view of the statue of Liberty, opens the blinds and sees his best henchman Rudy Van Daly of the GIMPS hanging from a noose from the top of the statue) Daly: ……………. I think it's time we shake up the scene a tiny bit. Hello! I'm Zeke Williams, owner of Honolulu-Hilo MMA, and it's my proud pleasure to announce to you: The First Ever Amateur Olympics! For those that wish to participate, this is how it will work: Your job, as a manager, is to "sponsor" a rising fighter from his country. However, with limited spots in the tourney, and possible double-ups that I don't want, the country list will be pre-determined. A certain date will be decided to "sponsor" your fighter, as this will be a creation tourney. Depending on how much appeal this gets, there will be either 16 or 32 fighters, in groups of 4. Half of the fighters will move onto the double elimination bracket after the round robin group stage. Just to emphasize, each fighter will fight the other fighters in their group twice, and it takes two losses in the elimination bracket to be eliminated all together. Probably one of the more controversial points, rounds will be separated by one week each. This might irk some, for training and healing purposes, but it's the best way to keep the ball rolling. Alternatively, you can forfeit matches for your fighters if you feel it is necessary. The prize pool size will be determined by the total revenue of all of the cards, plus any donations, and will be split up as shown: 1st: 40% of the prize pool 2nd: 20% of the prize pool 3rd/4th: 10% of the prize pool 5th/16th: splits the remaining 20% of the prize pool 17th/32nd (if needed): nothing Lastly, here are the possible countries you can sponsor from. For a couple of years now, the city of New York has been under the puppet strings of 2 different gangs. The outbreak of gang violence started back in the winter months of 2013. Six ferocious gangs battled it out for control of the city and at the end of all the bloodshed the first ever gang to emerge victorious was The Five Pointers. http://mmatycoon.com/images/products/1431716276Pueblo1.png Mickey Shanks last photographed before fighting Carlos Marion 01/03/14 (still wanted by NYPD) The Five Pointers were of Scandinavian Origin and crossed the rough cold stormy waves of the Atlantic Ocean in order to achieve their goal. The Five Pointers were ruthless, charismatic men made up of 5 main names known now to the world. Don Putin (now known as Byhenikov) led his gang to victory and played the main role in the taking of NYC, he also recruited the remainder of his gang. His main men were fellow Finns Sami Assasi and Ville Coleman, A fat Swedish loud mouth named Castor Rollins and veteran gangster Cus Damato. Together, they formed the perfect gang of killers and went undefeated whenever an opposing gang faced off with them. Their most valuable gangster who was so successful in his dirty work was Micky Shanks, the man was terrifying, finishing everyone in his way and is still out there somewhere on the loose despite the fact that he is on the NYC's most wanted list. Comrade, Vidar Nord is the only other gangster who avoided being locked up in the maximum security prison far away on the Bahamas. He is still a force to be reckoned with under new leadership after Castor Rollins has gone missing. Rumors circulate that Don Byhenikov and Castor Rollins had an on and off relationship with each other and one day the Don had enough and put a hit on Castor. Of course this is just speculation though. The Five Pointers were indeed a vicious gang and had their strengths but with success there is always failure as well. It was only until a little over a year later when a new power came to town and grabbed The big apple for themselves. They went by the name of.... After the demise of the Five Pointers the streets of NYC were safe again due to the overwhelming raids of the police force and locking up of many of the 5P's members. But there was that underlying truth in the back of everyone's mind that it wouldn't last long. And the truth it was. The Rockin' Robbins were one of many new gangs on the scene eager to start where the Five Pointers left off. Funnily enough The Rockin' Robbins were not seen as a big threat according to rival gangs such as favorites Hell's Kitchen Hellions and Gwad and his Merry Men. They were overlooked and they didn't like it one bit. It kept leader, Don Listerman, up awake at night, so there came a point where he refused for him and his Capos to be laughed at anymore and so the destruction began. It was then he recruited his next in commands, The Wolf, Davey Jones, Huey Freeman and Ryan Woodsmall to assist him on his uphill battle. They got everyone's attention when they took out the Hellion's, then the Merry Men, then.... you get it by now. They lit a fire under New Yorks ass and never again were they mocked. Listerman and his crew were often seen parading through the streets of manhattan with a cocky smile on their faces after taking over New York. However, that smile has turned into more of a frown recently with more than half of their gang being picked off but no-one knows who was responsible for this. Only a few remain in the Rockin Robbins now , Tearrius George and Cearul Ysengrin are among those few. New Age Cage Fighting is a new org that will be starting up soon. To get started we will run a preliminary Tournament to crown the first Champion. The tournament will be a creation tournament at the 205 weight class. The tournament will consist of 12 fighters, split into 2 pools. Fighters will sign a 5 fight contract to get them thru pool play. In pool play all fighters will fight each other fight in his pool. Top two fighters from each pool advance to the single elimination bracket stage. Tie breaker is quickest finish if records are the same There will be 21 days between fights during pool play with pool a and b on one card. Pools will be chosen completely at random. Once all 12 fighter slot are spoken for the creation and training process will begin. You will have one month from creation till the first fights. Each fighter is allowed to fight in 2 QFC fights. Like no place on Earth. A land full of wonder, mystery, and danger! Some say to survive it: You need to be as mad as a hatter.” Insanity will run it’s very first tournament and it will be a 18 year old creation tournament. CONCEPT To stand out a little in the tournament scene, I decided to do something I think/hope is unique. I’ll be looking to get 20 fighters total. There will be 2 parts in the tournament, with only 8 of the 20 fighters advancing to the second part of the tournament after 3 fights. First part: The first 3 round of fights in the tournament will be drawn from a ‘hat’, all these fights will be completely random. You will get points for your fights, based on how they go. Second part: The top 8 fighters with most points advance to a bracket. The fighter with the highest amount of points is able to make the first fight for their fighter. Then the next fighter in line can choose their fight and so on. Then the bracket will decide who faces each other next. The other 12 fighters can choose to stay or leave at this point. More details for those fighters will come after the original 3 rounds of fights. There will be 2 parts in the tournament, with only 8 of the 20 fighters advancing to the second part of the tournament after 3 fights. First part: The first 3 round of fights in the tournament will be drawn from a ‘hat’, all these fights will be completely random. You will get points for your fights, based on how they go. Second part: The top 8 fighters with most points advance to a bracket. The fighter with the highest amount of points is able to make the first fight for their fighter. Then the next fighter in line can choose their fight and so on. Then the bracket will decide who faces each other next. The other 12 fighters can choose to stay or leave at this point. Yes, it’s me with another tournament and yes i got way too much time on my hands during the week, but this time I don’t have any vacation time booked for the duration of the tourney and it is a knockout tourney so no risk of mess ups or drop outs (I hope). So I have noticed many of you tycoons are fans of Mortal Kombat and it is due to you guys that raised my curiosity about it. So I watched a few episodes and what not and thought fuck it, its aight, I think I’ll make a tourney about it, hopefully no one has done this before. Well, after seconds of research on the forums I was wrong, some other guy did it in 2011 (Find it here) and I must say he did it very well. I was glad I found his tournament because I am going to sorta carry on the legacy. Why let great things die out!? Hopefully people sign up cos it took me a long ass time to do the avatars and shit ha! So here I am with Mortal Kombat II. Requirements for MKII: · Creation tournament. · Openweight (265+ division/can be any weight you like). · Managers MUST choose an avatar from the ones made below! THEY ARE FREE. First come, first served with choice of avatar. · You can have a pussy but you must not be one. · Fights will take place in Colosseum in Amsterdam. A Union for mistreated 25 Year Old Builds has now emerged and is actively searching for your 25YOs to join the cause! Angry petitioners lined up and Scooby Jr found a way to satisfy them all. Whats Happening?: BEEF will now announce the first and only 25YO Build Division in the game.As an attempt to resolve an issue for at least some people in the game, there was a thread earlier this week in the forums speaking on the fact that most 25YO builds are sacked due to lack of ability to reach the top level skill in the game. This will be OPEN-ID! The only requirement is that your fighter was created at 25 years of age. How will it work?: Ex island fighters and ALL fighters who came out of their mother's wombs at age 25 will get fair fights FOR A FULL CAREER, building hype against fellow 25YO builds permitting you to keep the fighter rather than sacking them due to age and unfair fights. These fighters can sign to BEEF and will never have to fight 18YO projects or other fighters who reaped the benefit of 7 more years of faster learning. This will take place in my 265+ weight class so it will be OPENWEIGHT but fighters can choose to fight with only a 30lb weight difference if it is their desire. HOLDER OF THE BELT WILL ESSENTIALLY BE THE BEST 25YO BUILD FIGHTER IN THE WORLD What About Pay and Fair Fights?: Have no fear, i plan on scheduling all fair fights, Also, i will pay big money for good hyped fighters and slightly above average pay to attract regular 25YO Builds that were close to hitting the FA page for their shortcomings. 3 successful title defenses will grant the winner a $$$ bonus based on BEEF's event income at the time as well as NEW title holders will receive a $$$ reward for their success! Fighters will be asked to fight once every 3 weeks, even if they are cut/injured, for a total of 5 fights in the tournament. Even if the fighter is disqualified, he will be asked to fulfill his contract and keep fighting against other disqualified fighters.
