  3. GRPL in association with Syn City Promotions presents : GRPL Mania. 16 participants in each belt ranked class including Blue , Purple , Brown and Black will all compete for 500K each. Sign up below with fighter Name , ID and Belt Rank. 1 fighter per belt rank per manager. So no more then 5 fighters entered per manager.

    Help with training speed

Ok my fighter is a white belt in BJJ . i have him training at a a good gym full time, he is only training BJJ, so he spars 3 times a week with LOTS of higher skilled ppl. And trains in Defensive grap , takedown def and sub offence. He has been doing this for a week and half and not gained at all?? Is this normal how long does it take ?
  9. I want to know: Would you guys be interested in having me make my org's 265lbs Division a 250k ID restricted div with BJJ fights!?(just BJJ no striking) e.g. I sign guys and tell em how to set sliders if they don't do it right they get a fine and you get the money.(it depends on beating you with strikes or just using them if they beat you with it they get screwed and Sacked but if just one accidental shot just a Fine (from 1-50k depends on the amount of strikes)but I doubt this happening due to me only going to sign guys with no stand up skill and just BJJ.... Its a Division where its just BJJ almost like TWGC but the Sliders need to be set correctly"? Sliders will be set like the Following... 100% Follow Orders 100% Stick to gameplan(not swing for Fences) Stand up 100% counter (because no striking is allowed) well they should abviously be try takedowns because its basically a ground fight) Stand up counters 100% counter Grapple the other one doesn't matter Clinch 100% stall (no striking) Ground 100% stay on ground 100% ground submission(subs) because no striking is allowed the rest of them may be set to what you like anything is fine when there is no striking! So would you guys want it??I just want to know If I can sign about 20 guys to the Division it would be a Awesome project and fun?
  10. Hey guys! maybe it's cool to see who does what fight sport, or what he/she has done in the past.

  12. Welcome to the Fighting Panda Gym. We specialize in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiujitsu with light Boxing and Wrestling. Be sure to check the sparring schedule below for sparring days. Folks try to keep the schedule as follows: Monday AM: Brazilian Jiujitsu sparring levels .5-2.5 Monday PM: Brazilian Jiujitsu sparring levels 3-5 Tuesday AM: Muay Thai sparring levels .5-2.5 Tuesday PM: Muay Thai sparring levels 3-5 Wednesday AM: Brazilian Jiujitsu sparring levels .5-2.5 Wednesday PM: Brazilian Jiujitsu sparring levels 3-5 Thursday AM: Muay Thai sparring levels .5-2.5 Thursday PM: Muay Thai sparring levels 3-5 Friday AM: Boxing sparring all levels Friday PM: Wrestling sparring all levels Saturday: No Sparring For maximum training on skills here is what i have came up with after reading the MMA Tycoon information on coaching/fighter training effectiveness. It does very little for a person with less than remarkable or wonderful skills to train with elite coaches. Unless you have all remarkable/wonderful skills, training with full elite coaches all the time will not fully enhance your training ability. So therefore i have come up with 3 leveled coaches. Proficient coaches for those skilled Abysmal to Mediocre Remarkable coaches for those skilled Compenent to Superb Elite coaches for those skilled Remarkable to Elite P.S. Elite coaches will be coming soon. Vending machine is now stocked and added Balance and Speed to the Circuit Training. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gympublic.php?gmid=3209

    Ground Slider Question

I've noticed something odd in fights with my ground specialists, and one happened tonight that was a good example of it: http://www.mmatycoon...php?FTID=531267 I know that Sub Zero has a good confidence and IQ hidden and I set him to high aggression and high finish for this fight. However, in the first round (so energy wasn't an issue) he got mount and appeared to only attempt one move for ~30 seconds. I've noticed in previous fights that fighters of mine set to high aggression/high finish on the ground will sit for a long time between moves in side control, mount, and back mount, even against inferior grapplers. Is this solely due to the opponent setting his sliders to high control, is there something wrong with my slider settings, or is this just a normal amount of offense from a completely dominant position (I did set Zero to high SHIG for this fight, but I've had other fighters do this at 100% follow orders)?
