  1. Hi, I have few questions. Thanks for any answers. 1) How to weight cut? I read something where it says that fighter will be automatically drop weight. Is that right? I think it cost energy. Can you explain to me exactly how it works and how long it takes? I need cut 5lbs right now. 2) Flight to location If i have a fight outside my fighter location so how does it work? Will the flight arrange itself? What does it mean for a fighter? I read somewhere that the flight can be canceled and it teleports me. 3) Recommended minimum condition for 3x5 fight? 4) How old fighter is good to create on island? 2. Hey just joined a few days ago. This is my first post. Im finding the game very interesting and these forums very helpful. Sorry if the question has already been asked and answered but have not seen this specific thread yet. How significant are weight advantages in this game? How much difference does weight cutting really make? For example, say two fighters at 170 have even skills, even physical attributes, same height, but one fighter shows up at 165, and the other cuts from 183 or so. Would the 183lbs fighter get a boost in strength? Would the size exhaust the smaller fighter in clinches and while the bigger fighter has top control? Will he have more punching power? And, on the flip side, how much does the weight cut drain a fighters stamina? Does the weight cut hurt a fighters ability to take a punch? If the smaller fighter has better grappling skills, would the weight disadvantage even the playing field? Thanks for any help and insight!
  3. I have a 145er who is at 146.6 right now 8 days away from his fight. What is the best way to cut this weight down? I know he will get two hours to cut the last weight in the sauna but will it always be successful? and how much does that sauna cut take out of the fighter?
  4. You have information in this link: http://www.mmatycoon.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=61601&do=findComment&comment=854297 Trying to do something new and good in this game, I Hope that you will write opinion about it ?
  5. Hello guys. I was wondering how would you go about changing your fighters weight class? My guy is 220 pounds and cuts to 207.5. I was ideally wanting for him to cut to 205 for the light heavyweight division. Just wanted to know if this was possible and how?
  6. A while back there was a thread about fighter height and to use supplements to change this, and that’s where my idea was posted and figured with a little backing in that thread, I’ll make a stand alone thread for it to gain more attention and hopefully have it implemented in the future. Basically what I think should done is; restrict the weight based on a fighters height. It is highly unrealistic to see 225cm tall fighters who weigh 135lbs and are able to have success in the game. So to prevent that from happening I think that on the creation page for fighters, once you put in the height of the fighter, the minimum weight they can be should be automatically added and only be allowed to be changed with higher values. I do think that fighters should be able to get under the restricted weight by using supplements – but that would mean they are under fed and it should have effect on their physicals and perhaps hiddens and their fighting skills. Being under fed means the person is weaker, so less likely to have a lot of energy, less likely to be able to absorb punishment etc. Of course the more they under the weight, the stronger the effects become. Another idea I have for this, is to implement a new hidden for weight cutting, but you will only get it if you select it when creating a fighter. This would allow us to see some unique fighters still who are able to fight heavyweight and drop down to welterweight like Rumble Johnson for example. Seeing as the weight cutting in MMAT is not like real life, I am not sure either if there should be penalties here or factors to determin a tough weight cut etc. If you do not select the hidden, you’d have the same weight cutting skills as the rest based on the current method in MMAT. I am not sure if there should be a max weight for certain heights, but hopefully that can be discussed in the thread too. You got to keep in mind that muscle mass weigh more than fat mass. Hopefully we’ll get a good discussion on this subject and see what the community thinks.
  7. I have confirmed a fight, the contrat states 145 pound my fighter weights 136, his opponent is around 145 pounds What happens if my fighters do not weight 145 the fight day?
  8. I dont know much about coding, or if this has already been suggested but i was thinking it would be cool to select what weight you want to go into a fight at for further strategic benefits and sacrifices, For example, In the 265 weight class you might have (these are just examples) -Fighter A weighs 280lbs and cuts to 264.8 -Fighter B weighs 255lbs and cuts to 238lbs Where A would come in around 280 and B would be around 255 it would be cool to choose a weight by a slider or fill in box of some sort Depending on fighter A's strategy, he might want to fight at the cut weight to keep his weight advantage while having more agility and speed than if he was 280 Or Depending on fighter B's strategy, he might want to fight at his heavier weight to minimize the weight difference, likewise, he could choose to cut to 238 and would now have a Major quickness advantage and strength disadvantage which might be better for him in some circumstances. I think this would give more of an element of surprise and gameplanning for managers, what do you think?
  9. Hi guys, I was wondering what happens to a guy who doesn't make the weight cut before an event. He doesn't fight I reckon, but does a club owner get punished for that rating wise?
  10. Hi, If you use supplements to gain weight or lose it, does the weight stays at that level forever? For example if I use gain weight supplements to go from 180lbs to 190lbs. When I get to 190lbs I stop using the supplements, what will happen? I will stay in 190 or I will go back to 180? Thanks for any respond. Regards,
  11. Can we speed up the effect of these supps? Used 160 weight gain for 3-4 sessions and barely managed to gain 1 pound. I think gaining 1 or 1.5 pounds a session is a good starting point (assuming your using max quality). Most ppl use it on sundays/rest sessions so you would gain/lose 8-12 pounds a month minimum which isnt too bad. Another thing that could be done but may not be worth the effort is allowing weight supps to be taken simultaneously with the other three main supps.
