  1. Colossus after a brief hiatus is back! and this time we're returning on the Island to bring banging fights! Bring your island fighters here to become the Colossus and control the island!
  2. This season of the island needs a little violence! So I'm bringing back Ring of Violence from the grave! For now there will be 2 weight classes, 205lbs and 170lbs 205lbs will be 18yr old creation only 170lbs will be 25 yr old There will be a custom trophy for any fighter that gets 5 (t)Ko in a row I think that will be suitable for the time being, I will be around all season without a doubt so with help from you guys we can make this the most Violent season yet! You can either drop your fighters into here or message me in-game.
  3. So I've decided that I would try my hand at running a fight org(again) and figured I would make a KT one and it be on The Island. But what i havent figured out is whether to make it 18 yr old only or 25 yr old. I was thinking about doing 170lb and 265 lb divisions to start with and see how that goes. There is a poll so let me know with that or just comment any feedback.
  4. NEW AGE FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIPS Looking for new managers, but experienced managers also welcome! Recruiting from The Island, post your ID here and I'll offer a contract. I want to get in new fighters on short contracts, hold regular events, and have fair matchmaking. Currently 353k+, but I'll reevaluate at the end of the season Looking for MERCH PARTNER if anyone is interested Fights are 3 rounds, 3 minutes | Main Events/Title Fights 5 rounds, 3 minutes Fights take place in the cage Will decide where we go at the end of the season later on, based on manager preferences https://www.mmatycoon.com/orgpublic.php?oid=5761

  6. I am currently looking for managers who would be interested in taking part in the upcoming tournaments which will be happening in the 155lb. & 265lb. Divisions...Depending on the response from all of you I would like to have a tournament where we could combine these 2 tournaments into one by having it separated into teams (3 fighters from each division on Team A and also on Team B=total of 6 fighters per team) teams would be randomly selected unless we are able to get 2 managers who have some issues with one another and would like to resolve those issues once and for all and we would set things up to be like The Ultimate Fighter and if it ends up being done like that both captains will be responsible for selecting 2 managers to also create a fighter and be on that team and the remaining 6 slots would be filled by managers who also would like to take part in this event and they would be randomly placed on a team and once teams have been created each fighter would receive a sponsorship from After School Syndicate and all participants will be given a month to prepare for the tournaments first round of fights and each fighter is guarenteed to fight 2 separate times against 2 different opponents and points will be given to the winners team and in the end whichever team has the most points will receive some money sent to each manager as well as a larger contract offer from IFC and more! Please if anyone is interested in taking part in an event like this message me in game and we can talk my ID# is (117646)
  7. Not sure if this has been brought up before, but i was just thinking... The last few seasons of The Island have been pretty ordinary. Lack of companies have made it hard to train and buy products. I just had a thought that maybe we could open up an option for VIP managers to have an option of starting a second company strictly for the season of The Island? Maybe make it you have to pay "X" amount of VIP days. This company would be restricted to the same rules of The Island of no money coming in. It could encourage more companies and activity for future seasons? At the end of the season you then have the option of closing or selling your company so you don't own 2 companies. 2 seasons ago i built Sully's and was the only legit nutrition company. Last season i can't even remember who the nutrition company was! Thoughts? Good idea? Bad idea?

  10. With the Island officially launched figured I'd get a thread going to talk about it. Currently there is only one org open and no gyms, clothing companies, or nutrition companies. Ill keep this as a list with current org's and companies on the Island. 11. Going to keep this thread updating with what's going on in Liam O'Connor's MMA career. Not sure if anyone has done anything like this before but hopefully we'll see a star born. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/22/22w23.jpg "Lucky" Liam O'Connor 25 years old 185lbs 1-0 Remember the name because Liam O'Connor is going to be the #1 fighter on The Island when it's first season is finished. Despite only moving to The Island to showcase his talent recently, he's already picked up a win, a win in the Middleweight VIP Fight! Tournament Round 1, which he secured in the 1st round via Submission (Guillotine). He's scheduled to face Luke Marshall (2-0), in the 2nd round of the tournament. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/22/22w23.jpg "Lucky" Liam O'Connor 25 years old 185lbs 2-0 Sometimes we see debates about whether or not a fighter just got "lucky" in a fight or if he just is the better fighter. There's talk about whether or not Liam O'Connor (2-0), is the real deal or if he has just been lucky so far in his MMA career. He's already racked up 2 wins in a row and with his last one being in convincing fashion, any fighter to underestimate him will be making a foolish mistake. Luke Marshall (2-1) looked like he could have been the next big thing, being 2-0 in his first two fights, one of which being a KO win in the first round. Many believed he was the favourite going into this fight having displayed great boxing skill in his first fight and KO power by getting the KO win, whereas Liam O'Connor didn't really have his chin tested in his first fight and some might say that it was a bit scrappy, others would say he just got lucky getting the submission win. Despite being the underdog, Liam came out and proved his point, that he can stand with better boxers and come out victorious and was actually close to securing a KO win having rocked Luke Marshall earlier in the fight. After some nice clinchwork, Liam pulled guard and went for a triangle choke which left Luke Marshall tapping out, giving Liam his second W in his MMA career. Will Liam O'Connor continue to rack up the wins on The Island? Or will his luck eventually run out?
  12. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14046526106802.jpg James "Sully" McGuiness (237725) Good evening everyone!!! With the Junior Grand Master of KT 2 about to happen next week in conjunction with Sully's Bar & Grill proudly partnered up with Highland Kickboxing, as well as I thought we could celebrate and recruit some more young talent into KT by gauging interest in a potential Junior Grand Master of KT - Island Edition. As per the Junior Grand Master of KT, it will be a creation tournament and in keeping with the "junior" theme the creations will be 18 years old. Of course, fights will be held in Highland Kickboxing and prizes are TBD depending on interest. This is NOT a tournament announcement, i am just seeing if there is any interest in having one before i make it official. Or are there already too many tournaments happening at once? (PS: Sully's, the only place where you can get 155q energy product on The Island!)
  13. http://mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1440094913Troid_Epicity.gif *T118* - Celtic Christmas http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/13762188447833.jpg VS http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14046526106802.jpg "Lucky" Liam O'Connor James "Sully" McGuiness The MMA Tycoon world have been given a Christmas present by the Troid EP management team. Two ex-Island Irish legends are due to step into that steel cage for the very last time. Only one will emerge victorious in this epic last fight for both of these warriors. Both fighters captured the hearts of MMA fans across the globe by putting on a show every time they stepped into the cage. One the one hand you have the submission specialist in "Lucky" Liam O'Connor (15-7) and on the other hand you have the KO artist in James "Sully" McGuiness (16-13-1). The classic battle between grappler and boxer is set to go down in this mouth watering fight. Liam O'Connor comes into this fight off the back of a TKO loss to former Troid EP Middleweight title holder Ilya Mstislav Volkov (13-3). Though the fight didn't go the way he wanted, he surprised a lot of MMA fans by managing to get the fight where he wanted, on to the ground. Unfortunately for Liam O'Connor and his fans, Ilya was more than comfortable to be on the ground and was well aware of Liam's dangerous ground game. Ilya managed to avoid the submissions and counter them with some dangerous ground and pound, opening up a nasty cut on Liam's face. With the blood pouring down Liam's face, the doctor was asked to inspect the cut and deemed it too bad for Liam O'Connor to continue. Liam O'Connor's last chance of winning a title in his career had gone. Post-fight, Liam spoke of the pains he has recently been facing as a result of his 10 year fight career and hinted that his time in MMA was drawing to a close. James "Sully" McGuiness, perhaps famously known for being owner of Sully's Bar & Grill or the face of the KT revolution, is the fighter who will be standing across the cage from Liam O'Connor. James is coming off the back of a KT fight where he suffered a TKO loss against Welterweight KT sensation Bryant Baez (11-3-1). He was the main event in a card hosted by the #1 KT organisation EFFA. At 28 years of age, James is 7 years younger than Liam O'Connor but despite this has competed in 8 more fights and has the experience of competing not just in MMA but also in KT. He is said to be retiring to focus his attention full time on helping organise events in the KT scene and to run his bar full time. Both fighters have a strong following and are loved by the Irish MMA fans. Liam O'Connor has a unique style of fighting which he has perfected, his game plan is to get the fight to the clinch, pull guard and then secure the submission, a game plan which has seen him rack up an impressive 12 submissions and he has never been submitted in his 22 fight career. James McGuiness on the other hand has a KO or be KO'd attitude which has seen him win all of his fights bar one by (T)KO. While we're saddened to see the end of the career of two legendary ex-Island fighters, this is one fight to mark down on your calender and I know a lot of people will be looking forward to this Christmas present come Christmas day! http://i.imgur.com/eEVnMIA.png
  14. http://mmatycoon.com/images/layout/the_island_circle.gif This thread will be covering the story of Kenneth Omeruo, who is one of many fighters who are currently competing in The Island Season 2. I previously did a similar thread about my Season 1 fighter Liam O'Connor. I have been posting about him in The Island Season 2 thread but I know a lot of people enjoyed my last thread about Liam O'Connor, so I thought I'd post up what's happened so far to Kenneth Omeruo, starting from when he first joined The Island Season 2. Like the last thread, if you have a fighter who is currently competing on The Island, feel free to smash talk in this thread to Kenneth or talk about him or whatever, especially if your fighter is in the 155lbs division. If you want to avoid spoilers as to how Kenneth has been getting on in his MMA career, do not go onto my profile or Kenneth's profile. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A new fighter was joining The Island, he might of been a couple of days late because of travel problems but he was finally here. He grabbed his belongings and walked off the ship. He looked down at the confirmation letter which told him where to go and who to speak to when he arrived on The Island. Further down the page was a picture of him, and below that details about him. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/13890303632114.png Kenneth Omeruo 25 year old 155lbs 0-0 This place was a bit similar to Nigeria, it was hot yes but it was a much more beautiful place than Nigeria. The Island was giving his big chance to make it in the MMA world, back in Nigeria he was fighting for pride and well, emm that was it really... but now he had the chance to show the world what he does best - fight! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/13890303632114.png Kenneth Omeruo 25 year old 155lbs 1-0 Kenneth Omeruo has just found out who he's fighting in his next QFC fight - John "Lightning" Leblanc (1-0). Omeruo put in an impressive performance in his first fight, landing every kick he threw and also stuffing a total of 48 takedowns during the fight. We asked Kenneth if he had a few words for John Leblanc, which sounded more like a warning that anything else: "John Leblanc, I hope you're ready to enter my world when you step into the cage with me on Tuesday night. By the time I'm finished with you, you'll be either limping out of the cage or else you'll be carried out by your coaches from the cage."
  15. http://mmatycoon.com/images/layout/the_island_circle.gif Season 2 has started for The Island, as of tomorrow (2nd of January 2014) you should be allocated 1 extra fighter slot specifically for The Island. Season 1 was a great experience for me and I know a lot of other people enjoyed it. My only fighter on The Island was "Lucky" Liam O'Connor (9-4) and I made a thread following the career of him: LINK No doubt I'll be entering another fighter for this upcoming season but I'm still not sure what division I'll enter him for. The 185lbs division was one of the most popular with quite a few active managers from the forums having fighters in that division. In the end of season tournament, Chris Berzins (13-0) emerged victorious and was crowned Season 1 185lbs Champion on The Island. In case you missed Mike's message about The Island, I've included it in this opening post: I'd encourage everyone to give The Island a go, it's a new experience and could maybe become your most enjoyable experience in MMA Tycoon to date.

  17. http://i.imgur.com/NAiA0lr.png Book by Chocolate Al Book description: "And then I told her, I'll give you two of my sponsor shirts for a blow-job" Al was an avid adventurist, an accomplished athlete and a fearless daredevil. However, at twenty-five, Chocolate Al was living an uneventful life. College graduate with no employment prospects, living in the guest room of his parents' house with no car, money or job, Al was unhappy with the way his life was turning out. On November 2014, he encountered an advertisement about The Island, a secluded beautiful area designated solely for the purpose of cage fighting - and so Al was sold. He gathered cash from his parents, friends and family and was set to embark on the greatest journey of his life. This book follows Al through his experiences on the Island - from fighting for 200$ to main-eventing huge cards, from purchasing a used flea-infested mattress to sleeping in king sized beds with asian whores, and lastly, this book follows the ultimate comeback of them all, the comeback of a champion.
  18. Chocolate Al vs Mercy Falls has been booked for IFF10 This fight will feature two of the best Light Heavyweights in The Island, Chocolate Al and Mercy Falls. 20. I currently own Ownit Labs, the most hyped nutrition company on the Island. It's the only company on the Island that sells decent stamina supplements (I have a 144Q, and the closest competitor has 100Q), and when I opened there wasn't any stamina being sold on the Island. It's not super profitable, but I think a big reason is that no money is coming in anywhere on the Island because it's tough to get fights. Which brings me to my reason for selling. There are about 2 of the 6 orgs on the Island giving fights, so I want to sell this company and start up an org so more money can begin coming into the Island, and all of the businesses will improve. I've already had one fighter get kicked out of his gym because he can't pay the fees, and I've got three more that are about to get kicked out tomorrow because I can't get fights in Utopia. I've got 8 fighters on the Island, so I'm pretty invested in it. Help me help the Island
