Irish tries a head kick but it misses.
Powers misses with a two punch combination.
Irish throws a right hand that Powers ducks under and follows up with a left that Powers also avoids with ease. Irish shoots for a double leg takedown but Powers sprawls well. He's pushed Irish's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Powers ducks under a wild hook from Irish. Irish takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
#CUT#It looks like Sheamus Irish has been cut. Irish dives in for a single leg takedown but Powers sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Powers misses with a few strikes there.
Powers throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Irish lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Irish tries to clinch up but Powers circles away and keeps his distance. Powers throws a wild combination but nothing lands. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Powers scores with a nice strike. Irish slips a jab and a cross from Powers.

That's going to take a lot out of Sheamus Irish. Irish tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Powers takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Irish scores with a punch to the head. Powers misses with a series of wild punches.
Powers cracks Irish on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Irish falls backwards against the cage. Powers follows up with more strikes that drop Irish to his knees. Powers keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Irish! This one is all over!

Powers went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. No joy there for Powers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Blessed scores with a jab to the body. Powers rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Blessed moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Blessed wants to counter with a clinch but Powers pushes him away. Powers fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Blessed manages to avoid it. Powers misses with a jab, cross combination.
Powers looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Some wild striking there from Powers.
Powers sets himself, and Blessed steps forward looking for the clinch! Powers avoids it this time. Blessed scores with a sloppy right hand. Powers should have avoided that one. Blessed connects with the punch. Powers looks to land a combination but Blessed avoids it well. Powers misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Powers misses with a jab, cross combination.
Blessed throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Powers is breathing heavily. Blessed cracks Powers with a hook to the temple - Powers is on wobbly legs here! Blessed swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Powers falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Blessed wins by TKO!
