#R1# Maru stuffs the takedown. A swing and a miss from Maru. Maru scores with a jab.#CUT#It looks like Dash Herrera has been cut. Herrera blocks a jab. A head kick misses from Maru. Herrera is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Herrera avoids the body shot from Maru.
Herrera misses with a takedown attempt and Maru connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD2# Herrera shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Herrera was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Herrera wants to control but Maru is keeping him busy. #SUB2# Herrera is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Maru looks calm but he's in trouble here. #R1##TD2# Di Monteggi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Di Monteggi trying to control the pace. Herrera is trying to get back to full guard. Di Monteggi wants to control but Herrera is keeping him busy. Di Monteggi looks to score some points with some ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Herrera is trying to maintain the position but Di Monteggi is very close to passing his half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Di Monteggi prevents Herrera from improving his position. Di Monteggi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Herrera. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB2# Di Monteggi is trying to work for a kimura but Herrera is defending well.
#T1# Di Monteggi is trying to control the action in half guard but Herrera is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Di Monteggi tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Di Monteggi controlling the pace. The fighters are battling for position here. Herrera manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Di Monteggi tries to free his leg and advance position but Herrera is retaining full guard. Di Monteggi would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. #SUB# Di Monteggi is sitting in close to Herrera's body. Herrera has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Di Monteggi is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Di Monteggi is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Herrera.

#R1# Dragunov moves to clinch but Herrera breaks away #TD2# and Herrera counters with a nice double leg into guard. Dragunov is wriggling around but Herrera manages to pass to half guard.
#REVR# The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Herrera connects with a nice short shot to Dragunov's temple. Herrera is looking to advance position but Dragunov won't allow it. Herrera slips a nice elbow through Dragunov's hands, connecting with Dragunov's forehead.#SUB2# Herrera has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Dragunov defend it? Herrera steps over the head and cranks it - Dragunov is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Herrera!

#R1##TD# Herrera shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Zamanes's guard. Herrera throws a big elbow that misses. #SUB# Herrera is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Herrera wants to control from the top but Zamanes keeps moving. Zamanes looking to hit a scissor sweep but Herrera is one step ahead there. Zamanes is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Herrera dives into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Herrera moves into full mount! #SUB# Herrera goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Zamanes is on top in guard.
#T1# Herrera wants to sweep here but Zamanes controlling him for the moment. #SUB# Herrera working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Zamanes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Zamanes manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Herrera working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Zamanes. Zamanes preventing the sweep. #SUB# Herrera looking for a guillotine here but Zamanes defends easily.

Zamanes must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Zamanes trying to control the position from guard on top but Herrera is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #SUB# Herrera looking for a triangle here.
