Kitano uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Coleman. Kitano lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Coleman circles away quickly and effectively. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kitano connects with a high kick. Kitano lands a leg kick that knocks Coleman off balance momentarily. Kitano uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Coleman. Coleman pounces like a tiger and cracks Kitano with a vicious hook! Kitano is down but not out! Coleman follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

#R1# Ripken is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Kitano checks a leg kick. Kitano tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kitano misses with a body kick. Ripken definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Ripken uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kitano. Kitano misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

#KD# and Ripken counters with a crisp right hand that drops Kitano! Ripken lets Kitano back up to his feet, looking for a finish!#CUT#It looks like Daigo Kitano has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ripken tried to score with a low kick but Kitano checks it. Kitano fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kitano slips under a jab. Kitano takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Kitano closes the distance looking to clinch and Ripken rattles Kitano with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Kitano tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Ripken dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Kitano stiff and motionless on the mat!

#R1# Nice takedown defense from Bear. No joy for Kitano on that attempt. Kitano shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bear connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Bear misses with a hook. Kitano tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bear defends well and Kitano ends up having to push Bear into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Shaggy Bear has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daigo Kitano. Kitano shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bear pinned against the cage. Bear gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kitano tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Bear swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bear scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Kitano tries to clinch but Bear is having none of it. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Kitano might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Bear has got the better of the exchanges. Bear throws a lazy right hand but Kitano sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. And that's the end of the fight! Shaggy Bear showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bear, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
