Ferreira tries to clinch there but Tanaka circles away.
Tanaka throws a quick counter head kick but Ferreira was just out of range.
Tanaka looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Tanaka avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ferreira tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tanaka swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ferreira looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Ferreira counters with a nice uppercut.

Ferreira connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Tanaka tumbling to the canvas! Ferreira pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Tanaka was done - good stoppage!

Sawyer has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Tanaka is on him like a limpet, forcing Sawyer back against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
