Grappling tries to clinch up.#TD# Grappling feints and as Knight raises his hands in defense, Grappling changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Grappling scoring with some ground and pound. Grappling is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Grappling looking to pass the guard. Grappling slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Grappling landing with the ground and pound. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Evensen. Knight uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Evensen. Evensen misses with a left hand letting Knight counter with a right hand. Knight throws a body shot but no joy. Knight definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Knight ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Evensen looks to land a right hand but Knight moved out of range. A jab from Evensen misses. Evensen swings widly with a right hand
and Knight counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Sloppy strikes from Evensen. Those never looked like landing. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A swing and a miss from Evensen. Evensen takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Evensen punishes Knight's body with a nice straight punch. Evensen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Knight looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.#T1# Knight throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Conner looks OK. Knight waves Conner back to his feet!#CUT2#It looks like Sandy Conner has been cut. Conner looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Knight is fending him off so far but Conner persists. Nope, Knight circles away and we're back to standing. And Knight tries to counter it with a takedown but Conner pushes his down on his head and steps out. Knight cracks Conner with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Conner tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Knight pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Conner is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
