Let's hope that Ominateu has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ominateu scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Polo to see if he's OK.
The referee asks Ominateu politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Ominateu prefers to stall for the moment though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
You can see the frustration on Polo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Polo lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Akagi throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Polo to counter with a crisp jab.
Polo misses the jab.
Akagi rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Polo counters with a stiff right hand.
The fighters circling - Polo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Akagi connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Akagi throws out a loose jab but Polo uses good head movement to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Polo makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Polo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Akagi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Akagi might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Polo uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Oreilly has time to react.

Polo looks to land a combination. Oreilly sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Oreilly throws a nice looking combination but Polo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Polo lands a big head kick that sends Oreilly tumbling to the mat! Polo takes a step backwards and waves Oreilly back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Polo catches Oreilly with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Oreilly forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!

During a confident post fight interview, Doka Polo thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
