Norddahl shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Try's guard.
Norddahl is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. #SUB#
Try looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Norddahl passes into half guard.
Try is pressing down on Norddahl's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.#SUB2#
Norddahl is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Try is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Norddahl tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Norddahl has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Norddahl has hold of Try's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Try manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Try isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Norddahl stacks Try on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Norddahl!#SUB2#

Try reaches up and pulls Norddahl towards him, trying to control the position. Norddahl manages to get a guillotine from the mount though! This could be big trouble for Try! Try tries to roll over - now Norddahl is on the bottom but the guillotine is really deep and Try has to tap out! Great work there by Norddahl!

Evert Norddahl decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. |
