Jcool misses with a two punch combination.
We've been told by Niskanen's head coaches at FF Forever that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Jcool tries to score a power double leg takedown but Niskanen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jcool somewhat.
A nice leg kick from Niskanen, right into the meat of the thigh.

Niskanen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Niskanen throws a leg kick which misses Moore's front leg but catches the back leg as Moore tries to avoid it.

Moore changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Niskanen tries to avoid it but Moore manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Niskanen to the ground. Niskanen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Niskanen connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Moore fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Moore's coach down at Pure Progress Fitness was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Moore's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Moore's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Horrible takedown attempt by Moore or perhaps it was just good defense by Niskanen, which made it look bad.
Niskanen is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Rivo Niskanen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Niskanen lands a brutal head kick. Moore looks out on his feet and Niskanen throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Niskanen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Worthington closes the distance and clinches up with Niskanen, looking for a takedown. Worthington pushes Niskanen against the cage but Niskanen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Worthington takes one to the chin there.
Worthington shoots in for a takedown but Niskanen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Worthington moves in looking to clinch but Niskanen pushes him off.
Niskanen smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Worthington throws a big shot that misses.
Niskanen fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Worthington on the side of the head.
Niskanen tries to clinch but Worthington moves out of range.

Niskanen wants to control but Worthington is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Worthington is taking a breather. Niskanen says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
