Asuncao gets control of Mendez's arms and successfully pulls guard. Asuncao will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Mendez won't allow Asuncao to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mendez is fighting to break Asuncao's control of his arms but Asuncao is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Asuncao is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#SUB2#
Mendez has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Asuncao to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Mendez is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Asuncao pulls down on the head and he's put Mendez to sleep! This one is all over!

Mendez jumps guard but Hawes stands there with Mendez around his waist. Mendez gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Jacob Hawes comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Hawes has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
