Horrible takedown attempt by Hererra or perhaps it was just good defense by Baez, which made it look bad.
Hererra fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hererra shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Baez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pacho Hererra. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hererra shoots for a double leg takedown but Baez sprawls well. He's pushed Hererra's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Baez looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Baez lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though. #ROC2#Hererra is rocked!

Baez cracks Hererra with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Hererra falls to his knees and Baez doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

A very excited looking Miguel Baez made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

Branco drops Hererra with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Hererra! Branco dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Jesus Branco really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Paddy's Enhancing Drugs (160Q) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

Possibly an early stoppage but Hererra doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
