Davis drops Rooster with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Rooster looks back up at him and smiles so Davis waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Rooster looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Davis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rooster moves out of range as Davis strikes.
Despite the aggression on Rooster's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Davis fakes the body blow, causing Rooster to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Rooster goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Rooster lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lemire circles away quickly and effectively.
As Rooster tries to get set, Lemire tries to push him back and clinch up but Rooster manages to avoid the attempt.
Rooster digs a good body shot into Lemire's ribs.
Rooster connects with the punch.
Rooster cracks Lemire with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Rooster dips to his left and cracks Lemire with an uppercut!
Rooster's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Rooster duly obliges.
Good exchange - Rooster coming out on top.
