Vet backs away from a small jab... but Huyarik lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Vet crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Huyarik with a spectacular finish!

Vet circles away from the clinch attempt
and Vet counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Chong is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Chong shoots for a double leg takedown but Vet sprawls well. He's pushed Chong's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. #CL2#
Chong takes the fight into the clinch.

A quick step to the side and Vet tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Chong throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vet's waist but Vet gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chong off to one side.

Vet throws a quick counter head kick but Chong was just out of range.

and Vet counters with an inside leg kick.

Chong throws a sloppy head kick and Vet moves out of range easily.

Chong shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Vet but Vet pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Vet is pushing down on Chong's leg trying to pass to half guard. Chong is fighting to maintain full guard but Vet has managed to sneak the leg through.
Chong pushes Vet off looking to stand but Vet dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vet perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. #T3##SUB#
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Vet is working for a submission of some sort. #SUB#
Vet is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Chong defends it well.

Vet escapes and gets back to his feet.

Ching Chong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vet is stalking Chong. Chong circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Vet, and it's lights out! Chong really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
