The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Cappone is still on wobbly legs! Can Finn finish him?
Cappone walks straight into a right hand from Finn - that's dropped him! Finn jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Cappone from any more punishment! Cappone complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Skognar thuds his right hand into Cappone's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
A punch lands to the side of Cappone 's head but he takes it in his stride.#CL#

Cappone goes for a takedown attempt but Skognar pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Cappone stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Skognar.
Skognar lands a jab to Cappone's midsection.
Cappone walks into a left hand.
Cappone tries to close the distance and clinch but Skognar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Cappone has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Tommaso Cappone really struggled with his weight cut for this fight. After coming in at 211.8, he had two hours to cut the additional weight. He was unable to do so and as a result, his fight with Khalil Burnett was cancelled. |
