Tumnus changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Creed connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Creed lands a body shot.
Creed fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Tumnus to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Tumnus looks to clinch but Creed throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Tumnus taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Apollo Creed!
An out of breath Apollo Creed thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.

and Rude counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Tumnus! He's just covering up as Rude starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Control pushes Tumnus away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Tumnus gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Tumnus is working to tighten his grip on Control's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Control has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Tumnus is really squeezing tight and eventually Control passes out! Tumnus breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Tumnus has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Gracie uses from the top position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We've been hearing good reports from Tumnus's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Cotroni definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Tumnus displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cotroni throws out the jab.
