Muhammad Arslan had a terrible time trying to make weight. After initially coming in at 158.0, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. Stepping on the scales for a second time, he still failed to make the required weight and after much deliberation, his fight with Ace Dudley was cancelled.

It seemed like Verdi was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Verdi buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Verdi misses with a hook. Dudley ducked under it nicely.

Calogero Verdi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dudley has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
