and Thanopoulos counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ryan won't be happy with that.
Ryan bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!#CL2#
Ryan clinches up with Thanopoulos and pushes him back against the cage.#BC2#

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Thanopoulos dives in and grabs Ryan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ryan pushes down on Thanopoulos's head and hops out.
Thanopoulos closes the distance and clinches up with Ryan, looking for a takedown. Thanopoulos pushes Ryan against the cage but Ryan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Ryan feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Thanopoulos sprawling to the canvas! Thanopoulos rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ryan finish him?!

Jabbanator lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Thanopoulos circles away quickly and effectively.
Thanopoulos changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Sloppy strikes from Jabbanator. Those never looked like landing.
Jabbanator avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Jabbanator with the counter takedown but Thanopoulos avoids it easily.
Jabbanator throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jabbanator misses with a jab, cross combination.

Jabbanator tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Ze Jabbanator seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Yoda lands with a good body shot.
Yoda cracks Thanopoulos with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Thanopoulos takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Thanopoulos gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Yoda.
Yoda is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Thanopoulos.
Thanopoulos misses with a takedown attempt - Yoda sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.#CL#
Yoda closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Yoda lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Thanopoulos or not.
Yoda is pressed up against the cage. Thanopoulos has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Yoda down to the mat. Yoda avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Yoda lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Thanopoulos head around and knocks him out cold! Yoda hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
