Washington on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Okafor lands a glancing blow to the side of Washington's head.
Okafor drops Washington with a straight right hand, right on the button! Okafor follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Okafor!

Washington is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Washington hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Washington slips a jab and a cross from Pacquiaooo.
