TheBuilder keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Reinsmith takes a body punch but keeps moving.
TheBuilder lands a jab.
Reinsmith walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! TheBuilder swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Reinsmith shoots in for a takedown but Sullivan shows good takedown defense.
Sullivan throws a big counter head kick but Reinsmith avoids it with no problem.
Reinsmith throws out a leg kick but Sullivan moves out of range and Reinsmith only half commits.
Sullivan throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Reinsmith tries for a takedown but Sullivan circles away easily
and Sullivan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Sullivan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Reinsmith but Reinsmith pushes him off and we're back to square one.#CL#
Reinsmith rushes Sullivan and presses him up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Reinsmith tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Reinsmith has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Sullivan after a bit of a struggle.

Sullivan has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Reinsmith is proving hard to escape from.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sullivan throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Reinsmith's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Sullivan dives in looking to finish as Reinsmith flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Sullivan's strikes! Sullivan is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Reinsmith's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Reinsmith was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
