We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Andersson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

It looked like Corona was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Corona is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Fudd asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Corona felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Eldar Fudd decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Novel Corona spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

No joy there for Grang, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Corona is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Grang has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Corona is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Grang takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Grang is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Corona throws a body shot but no joy.
Jinski Grang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

In his post fight interview, Novel Corona started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Corona enables Penn to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Corona manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Corona feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Vasconceloss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

And Vasconcelos responds with a good body kick, but Corona manages to step out the way in time.

Corona drops Vasconcelos with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Vasconcelos looks back up at him and smiles so Corona waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A jab and a right hook connect and Vasconcelos buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Vasconcelos!! Vasconcelos is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Corona throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
