With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kiviranta creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Plugger is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kiviranta pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Plugger should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.#BC#

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Plugger has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Kiviranta wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Plugger's closed guard. He's half up but Plugger has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Plugger pivots and extends the arm, Kiviranta falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Plugger! Well done that man!
