Tatum leaves Jones with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Crunch! Tatum slams his shin into Jones's torso.

and Tatum counters with a straight right hand.
Jones on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tatum. Tatum obviously looking to wear him down.
Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Tatum moves out of range easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tatum connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jones scrambles back to his feet.

Tatum has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Tatum, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Tatum against the cage but Tatum circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cameron Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tatum finds Jones's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Jones flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Tatum lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Jones will be OK.
