Winkle went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Michaels leaves Kolfe with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Kolfe changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Michaels tries to avoid it but Kolfe manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Michaels to the ground. Michaels escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mark Michaels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sadam Kolfe.
Michaels lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Michaels scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Michaels cracks Kolfe with a good jab.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kolfe leaves his chin hanging out and Michaels seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Kolfe crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
