Shelf tries to bum rush Pheonix with a series of wild strikes but Pheonix uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
As Shelf tries to get set, Pheonix tries to push him back and clinch up but Shelf manages to avoid the attempt.
Shelf cracks Pheonix with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Pheonix shoots in for a takedown but Shelf shows good takedown defense.
A jab from Shelf finds it's way through Pheonix's defenses.
Shelf scores with a jab to the head.
Shelf swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pheonix throws a quick counter kick to the body but Shelf avoids it.

Pheonix changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shelf tries to avoid it but Pheonix manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shelf to the ground. Shelf escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Shelf rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pheonix moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pheonix jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shelf smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Pheonix throws a wild hook but Shelf just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Pheonix gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Shelf raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Top Shelf!
Top Shelf really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that SHINTO logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

It looks like Lewis Pheonix has been cut.
Pheonix fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ebbitt looks to score with a jab to the body but Pheonix is just out of range.#TD#
Ebbitt shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pheonix's guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Pheonix holds on and takes a little breather.
