Bate lands a nice looking body shot.
Dunstan takes one to the side of the head.
Dunstan throws a head kick but Bate moves out of range.
A nice side step and Bate releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Bate scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Bate is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Bate lands with a hook. Dunstan tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dunstan is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Bate to keep the fight standing.

Bate lands a really nice looking cross but Dunstan seems unphased.

Dunstan is trying to pull guard but Bate turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Godric Dunstan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Bate is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Bate tries to throw a body punch but Dunstan avoids it by throwing Bate back against the cage.

Dunstan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Bate cracks a nice hook into Dunstan's ribs.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bate fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Oh Dunstan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dunstan get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Dunstan stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Bate runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tyler Bate!

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Dunstan throws a head kick that half lands.
Bender is looking to take this fight into the clinch.#CL2#

Dunstan has Bender pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Dunstan pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Bender tumbling to the mat - Dunstan dives into Bender's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Dunstan might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.#T1#

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dunstan jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Bender manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Dunstan tries to move to mount but Bender blocks the move with his legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB2#
Dunstan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bender, who protects the arm well.

Dunstan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Dunstan tries to move into full mount but can't pass Bender's legs.
Dunstan wants to control but Bender is keeping him busy.

Bender really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#T4#
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bender gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
The referee warns Bender that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
