Alvarez has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Wu tests Alvarez's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Wu throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wu lands a nice shot that snaps Alvarez's head back.
Wu sizes up Alvarez with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Alvarez missing with a left hand there. Wu was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Wu lands a nice hook to Alvarez's body. Alvarez takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Alvarez throws a looping overhand right but Wu ducks down to avoid it.
Wu shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Alvarez eats them both and turns towards Wu to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Alvarez gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Wu.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#KD2#
Oooooh!!! Wu has knocked Alvarez down with a huge combo! Wu steps away and waves a wobbly Alvarez back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#ROC2#

Wu cracks a nice hook into Alvarez's ribs.

Alvarez's coach down at Los Magnificos was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Alvarez's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Alvarez throws a hook to the side of Dynasty's head but Dynasty sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dynasty attempts a counter takedown but Alvarez avoids it well and moves away.
Dynasty dives in and grabs Alvarez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Alvarez pushes down on Dynasty's head and hops out.
Alvarez misses the jab.
The fighters circling - Alvarez throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Alvarez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dynasty tries to avoid it but Alvarez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dynasty to the ground. Dynasty escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dynasty shoots in looking for a takedown. Alvarez tries to sprawl out of it but Dynasty keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Alvarez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Alvarez keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shawn Dynasty. That's going to take a lot out of him.
