Dignity fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bush.
Bush tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Dignity swings for the body but Bush moves out of range.
Dignity misses with a body kick.
Dignity cracks a nice hook into Bush's ribs.
Dignity connects with a body shot that sends Bush's belly button to the back.
Dignity misses with a low kick.
Dignity throws a jab but it's blocked by Bush.
Dignity lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Bush has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Dignity.
A chopping leg kick lands by Dignity.
Dignity fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The crowd cheers as Dignity lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bush doesn't seem phased though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bush has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dignity finds it's way round the side to connect with Bush's head. #T1#

A head kick by Dignity - that's a beauty! Bush is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Dignity can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cyborg can do anything to dispel that myth.

Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Bush and the ref steps in to end the fight! Bush can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

and Bush decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Cyborg's guard.

Cyborg really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bush. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bush has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#SUB#
Bush is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Cyborg is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Cyborg flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Bush anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Cyborg and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Bush slips an arm under Cyborg chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Bush has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Bush is squeezing on Cyborg like an anaconda would it's prey. Cyborg fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). JJ Bush!

Bush takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Cyborg gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bush to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Cyborg tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bush throws a big right hand that misses.
Cyborg is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Bush looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cyborg with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Bush is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Bush lands a big shot there that rocks Cyborg but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Cyborg is bucking up trying to escape but Bush cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Bush has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Cyborg's face.
