Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Crane Gilded (ranked 4790 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Grouw (ranked 4752 p4p, 238 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grouw is looking to clinch but Gilded is avoiding it.
Gilded misses the jab.
Gilded connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Gilded looks to score with a jab to the body but Grouw is just out of range.
Grouw tries to clinch there but Gilded circles away.
Crane Gilded seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Gilded, right into the meat.
Gilded throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Grouw dives in and grabs Gilded's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gilded pushes down on Grouw's head and hops out.
Gilded swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Gilded lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Grouw throws a sloppy head kick and Gilded moves out of range easily.
Gilded throws a head kick that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Grouw looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Grouw tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gilded smiles and moves away.

Gilded stuffs the takedown.
Crane Gilded has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyler Grouw.
Grouw sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Grouw.
Gilded keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gilded was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Gilded scores with a head kick.

It looks like Tyler Grouw has been cut.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Grouw.
Gilded seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Grouw closes the distance and clinches up with Gilded, looking for a takedown. Grouw pushes Gilded against the cage but Gilded circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Grouw looks winded!
Gilded pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gilded throws a front kick that sends Grouw stumbling back into the cage.
Gilded fails to land with a series of punches.
Grouw closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gilded circles away.

Grouw takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gilded lands with a nice body punch.
That kick from Gilded tenderised Grouw's leg. Grouw is trying to keep his angry face on.
Crane Gilded is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gilded fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Grouw's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Gilded connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Grouw scrambles back to his feet.
A thudding body kick lands there by Gilded!
Grouw should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Gilded lands a nice leg kick that just misses Grouw's sensitive parts.
Gilded swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Grouw.
Gilded throws a nice outside leg kick.

Gilded throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gilded thumps Grouw with a low kick.

Gilded stuffs the takedown.
Gilded buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Grouw's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Gilded throws a leg kick which misses Grouw's front leg but catches the back leg as Grouw tries to avoid it.
Gilded is looking to slow Grouw down with leg kicks.
Gilded smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Grouw tries to clinch up.
A little feinted left hand from Gilded on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Grouw shoots and misses
and Gilded counters with a straight right hand.
Gilded with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Gilded looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gilded lands with a thumping leg kick.
Grouw on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Gilded is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Gilded lands a right hook to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gilded connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Gilded fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Grouw.

Grouw tries to move into range but Gilded moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Gilded throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Grouw's head.
Gilded lands with a nice body kick.
Gilded lands a nice looking kick to the body. Grouw takes a step back to recover.
Grouw is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Gilded lands with a kick to the ribs.
Grouw has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Gilded.
Grouw takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Gilded takes a swing at Grouw's ribcage but misses.
Grouw with the counter takedown but Gilded avoids it easily.
Gilded cracks Grouw with a good jab.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Grouw gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Gilded throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Grouw is rocked!
Gilded pounces like a tiger and cracks Grouw with a vicious hook! Grouw is down but not out! Gilded follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
