Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eoin Mcgrath (ranked 4480 p4p, 230 weight class) and John Pollock (ranked 5483 p4p, 261 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mcgrath might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to BIG FUCKING STROKEY NONCE. John Pollock has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Eoin Mcgrath!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, John Pollock!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pollock stalks Mcgrath and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mcgrath's face. Mcgrath staggers backwards, shaken.
Pollock lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Pollock has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Mcgrath is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Mcgrath darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Pollock really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mcgrath. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mcgrath seems to be looking for submissions.
Mcgrath definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Mcgrath really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mcgrath tries to pass the half guard into mount. Pollock knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Mcgrath seems to be working for a kimura but Pollock defends the submission attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pollock is trying to stand back up but Mcgrath is controlling him
Pollock tries to roll over but Mcgrath keeps him under control.
Mcgrath frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mcgrath is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Pollock can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Mcgrath is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Mcgrath extends the arm and Pollock is forced to tap!
