Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aras Szlesz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Mcshane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aras Szlesz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Billy Mcshane!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcshane looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mcshane looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mcshane takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Mcshane misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Aras Szlesz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Szlesz looks to land a combination but Mcshane avoids it well.
Decent striking displayed by Szlesz there.

Szlesz shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Mcshane is trying desperately to improve position.
Szlesz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Mcshane tries to hold on but Szlesz pushes him away.

Mcshane should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Mcshane sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Mcshane wants to control but Szlesz is keeping busy.

Szlesz throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Mcshane is trying to control but can't.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Szlesz wants to stand up but Mcshane is controlling the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Mcshane tries to control but Szlesz wriggling away.

Mcshane manages to capitalize on a mistake by Szlesz to take his back!
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Mcshane has eaten all the pies!
Szlesz wants to control his opponent's hands but Mcshane gets his hands free.
Szlesz holding both Mcshane 's hands and preventing any damage.
Mcshane punishes Szlesz with strikes from the back mount.
Szlesz is keeping busy.
Mcshane scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.

You can see the frustration on Szlesz's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Szlesz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mcshane on the ground.

Szlesz rolls, trying to escape but Mcshane keeps control of the position.
Mcshane is working the ground and pound. Can Szlesz escape?

Mcshane wants to control but Szlesz is keeping busy.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Even with his hooks in, Mcshane manages to miss with strikes from the back.
Mcshane struggling to keep hold of the position.
Szlesz looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
The referee is taking a good look at Szlesz as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Mcshane!
Szlesz wants to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aras Szlesz dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Mcshane drives through with a takedown into guard.
Szlesz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mcshane is one step ahead there.

Szlesz throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Szlesz is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Mcshane missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Mcshane passes Szlesz's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Szlesz flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Mcshane not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Mcshane in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Szlesz tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Mcshane!
