Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Captain Gonza (ranked 468 p4p, 66 weight class) and Alexey Andreev (ranked 386 p4p, 50 weight class). Gonza comes to the cage accompanied by Many Men. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Andreev shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Andreev showed some decent athleticism there.

A quick step to the side and Gonza tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gonza misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Andreev! But no joy.
Alexey Andreev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That was a close round but I would say that Captain Gonza will probably get the nod.

Gonza lands a left and a right that send Andreev crashing to the mat, dazed. Gonza thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Andreev is rocked!
Gonza ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Andreev's jaw. Andreev's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Gonza does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Captain Gonza!
A relieved looking Captain Gonza thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
