Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nelson Cedeno (ranked 4155 p4p, 360 weight class) and Zack Wave (ranked 5174 p4p, 391 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wave gets a clinch.
Cedeno tries to pull guard but Wave holds him up against the cage and eventually Cedeno drops back down to his feet.
Wave is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Wave has picked Cedeno up - he's going for a ride! Wave dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Wave closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Wave gets through Cedeno's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Wave takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Cedeno wants a takedown but no success here.

Wave fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cedeno sprawls well initially but Wave persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Wave winds up and cracks Cedeno with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Wave seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Cedeno fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wave manages to avoid it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Wave pulls Cedeno in close to prevent any damage.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wave is on top in guard.

Zack Wave showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
