The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mikhailov misses with a takedown attempt - Hines sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Hines is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mikhailov is just riding it out for now. Hines eventually gives up the hold.

Hines's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Mikhailov is holding on here and Hines must be using up a lot of energy. Mikhailov has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Hines gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
