Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blazej Byczkiewicz (ranked 2093 p4p, 254 weight class) and Frank Andersson (ranked 22695 p4p, 569 weight class). Byczkiewicz comes into the arena with The Flex - Don't Bother With The Outside World blaring out of the sound system. The key to victory for Blazej Byczkiewicz has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Andersson!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab from Byczkiewicz.
Blazej Byczkiewicz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Andersson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Andersson cracks Byczkiewicz with a solid left hand.
Andersson won't allow Byczkiewicz to sweep him here.
Byczkiewicz pulls Andersson in close to prevent any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

My spies in ^Blood&Guts^ inform me that Andersson has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Byczkiewicz lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Andersson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Byczkiewicz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Byczkiewicz distracts Andersson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Andersson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Byczkiewicz trying to control but Andersson is working from the bottom.
Byczkiewicz with a flurry of punches that miss.

Andersson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Byczkiewicz defends well.
Andersson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Andersson wants to sweep here but Byczkiewicz controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Andersson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Andersson has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Byczkiewicz should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Andersson has tightened it up now! Byczkiewicz should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Frank Andersson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
