Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vicente Lafayette (ranked 945 p4p, 130 weight class) and Derek Wylde (ranked 2148 p4p, 268 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Wylde's choice of entrance music: Kanye West- Touch the Sky. Vicente Lafayette has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wylde goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Wylde throws a series of strikes that have Lafayette backpedaling.
A nice combination there by Wylde.
Wylde tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A counter left hand to the body from Lafayette misses its target.
Wylde avoids the body shot from Lafayette.
Wylde lands a left and a right that send Lafayette crashing to the mat, dazed. Wylde thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Lafayette is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lafayette scores with a sloppy right hand. Wylde should have avoided that one.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lafayette.
Wylde tries a head kick but it misses.
Wylde's corner calls for a 1-2. Wylde obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Wylde pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lafayette get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Lafayette stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the ropes but Wylde runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Derek Wylde!
Derek Wylde tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
