Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marshall Train (ranked 2323 p4p, 223 weight class) and William Jaktic (ranked 3790 p4p, 332 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Marshall Train!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Jaktic!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jaktic closes the distance and clinches.

Train jumps into guard, dragging Jaktic to the mat.
Train looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jaktic is one step ahead there.

Train had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jaktic defends it easily.
Jaktic must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Train lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Train is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Jaktic wants to stand but Train is controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jaktic wants to get back to his feet but Train passes into half guard.
Jaktic moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Jaktic tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We've been informed that Jaktic has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Train slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Train has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Jaktic is trying to control the position but Train postures up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jaktic wants to get back to his feet but Train is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Train looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Train slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Train misses with a takedown attempt - Jaktic sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jaktic looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Train is fending him off so far but Jaktic persists. Nope, Train circles away and we're back to standing.

Jaktic gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Train to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Train makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Train tries to free his leg and advance position but Jaktic is retaining full guard.

Jaktic pushes Train off looking to stand but Train dives back in and keeps control.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Train wants to free his trapped foot but Jaktic is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Train is trying to control. Jaktic wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Jaktic dives in and grabs Train's left leg, looking for a takedown. Train pushes down on Jaktic's head and hops out.
No luck for Jaktic with that takedown attempt.
Jaktic lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Train looks for a takedown but Jaktic sprawls well.
William Jaktic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Train throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jaktic tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Train is in Jaktic's guard.
Jaktic throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Train has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jaktic is proving hard to escape from.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Jaktic is pulling down on Train's head to control his posture.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Jaktic changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Jaktic is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Train tries to close the distance and clinch but Jaktic swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Jaktic tries to score a body lock takedown but Train shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Marshall Train has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William Jaktic.

Train is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jaktic can do to turn this around?
Jaktic goes for a takedown attempt but Train pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jaktic leaves Train with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Train shoots in looking for a takedown. Jaktic tries to sprawl out of it but Train keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jaktic manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Jaktic closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Jaktic lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

A close second round but William Jaktic will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Marshall Train overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Jaktic is adopting a defensive guard.

Jaktic working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Train doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Train manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Train drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Train jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jaktic is on top in guard.

Train ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Train no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Train wants to sweep but no luck.
Train is controlling Jaktic's posture.

Train is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jaktic is aware though and is defending well.
Train preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Train escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jaktic gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jaktic pushes down on Train's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Train makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Train.
Train is looking to sweep but instead, Jaktic has passed into half guard.
Jaktic seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Train does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Jaktic prevents Train from improving his position.
Train is controlling Jaktic's position as best he can from this difficult position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Marshall Train showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Train has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
