Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rubanok misses with a few strikes there.

Rubanok fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kyle, pushing him back against the cage.
Kyle blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Kyle tightens his grip and picks Rubanok up, before dumping him to the ground. Rubanok manages to land in guard.
Kyle throws a big elbow that misses.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kyle accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kyle has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kyle throws an elbow that misses. Rubanok uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kyle's guard. Nice move by Rubanok!

Rubanok tries to stand but Kyle is controlling from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kyle keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Rubanok's head.

Kyle arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Rubanok's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
