Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Phol Boxaaja (ranked 617 p4p, 84 weight class) and Jim Jones Jr (ranked 858 p4p, 120 weight class). Jim Jones Jr has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
17 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phol Boxaaja!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jim Jones Jr!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones Jr misses the jab.
Boxaaja misses with a looping right.
Jones Jr lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Boxaaja swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jones Jr.
Boxaaja does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Boxaaja throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Boxaaja scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jones Jr lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Boxaaja throws a right and a left that Jones Jr avoids nicely.
Jones Jr misses with a straight left.
Boxaaja looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Jones Jr drives through with a takedown into guard.
Boxaaja seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Boxaaja working a defensive guard here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boxaaja has control of Jones Jr's left arm, preventing Jones Jr from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones Jr trying to control but Boxaaja is working from the bottom.
Jones Jr avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Boxaaja is trying to control the position but Jones Jr postures up.
Jones Jr trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jones Jr keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Boxaaja's head.
Boxaaja has momentary wrist control but Jones Jr slips an elbow through the middle.
Boxaaja keeping moving, preventing Jones Jr from controlling successfully.
Jones Jr throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Jones Jr tries to free his leg and advance position but Boxaaja is retaining full guard.
Boxaaja not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Jones Jr postures up in Boxaaja's guard and throws a big left but Boxaaja blocks it.
Boxaaja looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jones Jr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Jones Jr throws a big elbow that misses.
Jones Jr lands a couple of elbows.
Jones Jr trying to control but Boxaaja is working from the bottom.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Jones Jr's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Boxaaja is rocked!
Jones Jr is working Boxaaja over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Oh Boxaaja is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jones Jr scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones Jr slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Jones Jr gets to his feet and stands over Boxaaja, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Boxaaja felt that one! Jones Jr unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Boxaaja from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jim Jones Jr!
After winning the bout, Jim Jones Jr thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
