Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luss Rittle (ranked 5289 p4p, 403 weight class) and William Jaktic (ranked 6095 p4p, 440 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Luss Rittle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Jaktic!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jaktic shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rittle's guard.
Jaktic postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Rittle is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jaktic slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rittle accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Rittle won't allow Jaktic to get back to his feet.
Jaktic wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

It looks like Jaktic might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Rittle throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jaktic drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Rittle defends it well.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Rittle throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jaktic's waist but Jaktic gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rittle off to one side.
Rittle tries to clinch but Jaktic is having none of it.

Jaktic fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rittle sprawls well initially but Jaktic persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Jaktic is thwarting Rittle's attempts to control the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A helpless look comes across Rittle 's face. He knows he's trapped as Jaktic lands a series of unanswered strikes. The ref steps in to stop the fight and this one is in the books!
