Jackson comes to the cage accompanied by Creed II- Eye of the Tiger. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson lunges at Lastairman with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lastairman's hand.

Lastairman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jackson was covering up waiting for the punch and Lastairman finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Jackson has Lastairman pulled in close to control his posture.
Jackson lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lastairman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jackson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Lastairman looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Jackson! Submission of the night perhaps?
