Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Neil Diaz (ranked 1894 p4p, 42 weight class) and Cyril Makarenko (ranked 6361 p4p, 117 weight class). Makarenko has chosen Macarena - Original version as his entrance music. Diaz has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makarenko stalks Diaz and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Diaz's face. Diaz staggers backwards, shaken.
Diaz checks a leg kick.
A jab lands there for Makarenko.
Diaz on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Makarenko connects with a quick right hand that sends Diaz tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Cyril Makarenko!
After the fight, Cyril Makarenko was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
