Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luke Vader (ranked 4431 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack CC (ranked 4832 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Luke Vader!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack CC!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
CC throws a jab when Vader was well out of range.
Vader throws the left hand but CC avoids the punch easily.
CC looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
CC walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Vader checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
CC ducks under a wild hook from Vader.
Vader misses with an uppercut. CC saw that one coming.

It looks like Luke Vader has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from CC. Vader does a little dance to reset his feet.
CC throws a leg kick but Vader moved away.
CC moves away from the strike by Vader.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from CC! But no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vader thuds a left hand into CC's body.
CC throws a solid leg kick but Vader takes the impact on his shin and smiles at CC.
CC jabs Vader to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Vader pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
The fighters circling - Vader throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

CC slips under a jab from Vader.
CC connects with a single shot there.
CC is looking to score with low kicks.
Vader jabbing away but nothing is landing.
CC moves away from the strike by Vader.
CC looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Vader misses with a right hand
and CC counters with a stiff right hand.
A jab lands there for CC.
CC takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
CC is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Vader moves out of range of the body kick.

Luke Vader seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vader looks to land a left hand but CC moved out of range nicely.
Vader looks to score with a jab to the body but CC is just out of range.

Vader throws out a loose jab but CC uses good head movement to avoid it.
CC throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
CC is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
CC keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
CC misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Vader loads up on a big right hand but CC slips the punch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
CC uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Vader.
Vader thows a left - swing and a miss!
A big left from CC misses.
A low kick from CC misses
and Vader makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
CC misses with a body shot.
CC finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Vader was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
CC connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
CC throws a low kick but Vader avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
CC keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Vader swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Vader missing with a left hand there. CC was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Vader blocks a head kick by CC.
Vader scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vader. CC does a little dance to reset his feet.
CC throws a low kick but it's checked well by Vader.

Vader throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
CC appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Vader takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

CC slips under a jab from Vader.
Vader takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Vader is rocked!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

CC throws out a counter right but Vader avoids it with no problem.
CC lands with a nice body punch.

Vader moves out of range of the leg kick from CC.
Vader throws a jab when CC was well out of range.

Oh Vader is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
CC finds Vader's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Vader flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. CC lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Vader will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jack CC!
